The Trouble With Angels
Mary (Hayley Mills) and her friend, Rachel (June Harding), are new students at St. Francis Academy, a boarding school run by the iron fist of Mother Superior (Rosalind Russell). The immature teens grow bored and begin playing pranks on both the unsuspecting nuns and their unpleasant classmates, becoming a constant thorn in Mother Superior's side. However, as the years pass, Mary and Rachel slowly mature and begin to see the nuns in a different light.

Jerry Kingsley (Fredric March) is a wealthy garment manufacturer left lonely in his 60s when his wife dies. Despite the difference in their ages, he strikes up a romance with divorced 24-year-old receptionist Betty (Kim Novak). At a national park in Kenya, English game warden George Adamson (Bill Travers) and his wife, Joy (Virginia McKenna), care for three orphaned lion cubs. After the two larger lions are shipped off to a zoo in the Netherlands, the smallest of the three, Elsa, stays with the couple. When Elsa is blamed for causing an elephant stampede in the nearby village, head warden John Kendall (Geoffrey Keen) demands the young lion either be trained to survive in the wilds of the Serengeti or be sent to a zoo.

Captain Casey Abbott (Ronald Reagan) commands an American submarine in the Pacific during World War II. When a perilous mission to retrieve a new Japanese mine for study goes awry, he's forced to abandon a likable combat diver, Wes Barton (Harry Lauter). Abbott's orders to leave a man behind appear to be justified, but his second in command, Don Landon (Arthur Franz), believes he had ulterior motives: Barton had been competing for the attention of his love interest, Helen (Nancy Davis).
The Whole Truth
On the French Riviera, movie producer Max Poulton (Stewart Granger) is on location shooting a film starring his lover, Gina Bertini (Gianna Maria Canale). But when the rueful Max ends his fling with Gina to return to his loyal wife, Carol (Donna Reed), the jilted actress threatens to reveal details of their affair to Carol. Later, at a party at Max's villa, investigator Carliss (George Sanders) arrives with news that Gina has been killed and that Max is a murder suspect.
