Rusty Leads the Way
Danny Mitchell (Ted Donaldson), a precocious 13-year-old, is intrigued by his new neighbor, a blind girl named Penny Waters (Sharyn Moffett). Danny and his dog, Rusty, befriend the girl, who soon comes under the scrutiny of the local school board. The board wants Penny to go to a state school for the disabled, sparing them the expense of accommodating her. Danny figures that he and Rusty can help Penny get a seeing-eye dog, enabling her to go to school in town with the rest of the kids.
Autumn Leaves
After lonely, middle-aged woman Millicent Weatherby (Joan Crawford) meets the vibrant and young Burt Hanson (Cliff Robertson) at a restaurant, they go out on a date. Although Millicent is wary of their age difference, she eventually marries him. Soon she is shocked to encounter Virginia (Vera Miles), Burt's ex-wife. Virginia claims that Burt is mentally unstable, which is later backed by Burt's father (Lorne Greene). Confused and scared, Millicent tries to learn the truth about her new husband.

Upon being diagnosed with terminal cancer, selfless suburban housewife Mary Scott (Margaret Sullavan) makes the ultimate sacrifice: she decides to keep the unpleasant news from her husband, Brad (Wendell Corey), and daughter, Polly, to avoid devastating her loved ones. Instead, Mary encourages Brad's affair with a co-worker (Viveca Lindfors), and even grooms the other woman to take her place. But as Mary's illness progresses, keeping it a secret presents a considerable challenge.

In the wake of a bank heist, Paul Sheridan is part of a team of cops assigned to recover the stolen $200,000. They stake out the apartment of Lona McLane, the girlfriend of one of the robbers, and before long Paul and Lona begin a steamy affair. Lona persuades Paul to kill her boyfriend so that the two of them can escape with the money, but, in order to pull it off, Paul first has to trick his boss and fellow detectives.

The Whole Truth
On the French Riviera, movie producer Max Poulton (Stewart Granger) is on location shooting a film starring his lover, Gina Bertini (Gianna Maria Canale). But when the rueful Max ends his fling with Gina to return to his loyal wife, Carol (Donna Reed), the jilted actress threatens to reveal details of their affair to Carol. Later, at a party at Max's villa, investigator Carliss (George Sanders) arrives with news that Gina has been killed and that Max is a murderer suspect.
Miss Grant Takes Richmond
Ellen Grant (Lucille Ball) is the worst student at her secretarial school, yet surprisingly, she is hired by real estate agent Dick Richmond (William Holden). It turns out that Dick's real estate office is just a front for a betting operation. When Ellen unknowingly takes a large bet from Dick's old flame, Peggy (Janis Carter), Peggy demands that Dick must either pay up or run off with her. It's up to the dizzy Miss Grant to find a way to extract Dick from this mess.
