After Maj. Crowley (Norman Wooland) arrests the warrior Kasim Khan (Victor Mature) under suspicion of attacking British troops, Khan escapes. While he is away, a rival warlord, Azhad Khan, dresses his troops as British soldiers and attacks Kasim's village, killing his family. Thinking that the British are behind the attack, Kasim wages war against them.
