Fortunately, a local rancher, Shep Horgan (Ernest Borgnine), is willing to employ Troop despite the injury. A jealous cowhand (Rod Steiger) complicates matters by spreading lies.
They Rode West
Dr. Allen Seward (Robert Francis) is the new doctor at a remote Army outpost. His liberal attitudes towards Native Americans become a source of tension between him and his superiors, especially Capt. Peter Blake (Philip Carey), who regards all Native Americans as dangerous and untrustworthy. Seward's insistence on treating several local Kiowa tribespeople for malaria further enrages Blake, who deems Seward a traitor when the Kiowa join forces with the Comanches and attack the fort.
Ride Lonesome

When the widow Mrs. Lane (Karen Steele) decides to accompany them to Santa Cruz, Brigade enlists the aid of two outlaws who may have a hidden agenda of their own.

Along the way, a con artist, the Preacher (Harry Belafonte), joins the group, and constantly clashes with Buck. But when a gang of bounty hunters, led by the fiendish Deshay (Cameron Mitchell), attempts to round up the freed slaves to bring them back to Louisiana, the two put aside their differences to fight a common enemy.

Only Crowley's daughter, Zena (Anne Aubrey), with help from her guard, Stokes (Anthony Newley), sees that Kasim is not the enemy.
