Maximum Risk
French police officer Alain Moreau (Jean-Claude Van Damme) makes an astonishing discovery: Mikhail, a man who died recently in a breakneck car chase, is the twin brother he never knew. Alain then uncovers a web of family secrets that lead him to New York City, where his brother was involved with the Russian Mafia. Teaming up with Mikhail's lover, Alex Minetti (Natasha Henstridge), Alain must now assume his twin's identity and go undercover to avenge Mikhail's death.
The Take
Deep in the slums of Los Angeles, good-natured Felix De La Pena (John Leguizamo), a family man and armored vehicle driver, is shot in the head during a hijacking attempt gone wrong. Though his wife, Marina (Rosie Perez), offers her love and support, Felix suffers from intense physical and emotional pain following the attack. As he begins to recover, he learns he has been framed for the stick-up; distraught, Felix decides to find the real culprit himself, despite his failing health and memory.
Finding Graceland
En route to Memphis, Tenn., on a solemn solo road trip, widower Byron Gruman (Johnathon Schaech) picks up a disarming hitchhiker who claims to be the late, great Elvis Presley (Harvey Keitel). As Gruman opens up about the loss of his wife, Beatrice (Gretchen Mol), in a tragic car accident, his bizarre passenger becomes a surprisingly powerful source of wisdom and comfort. The duo even picks up a Marylin Monroe impersonator, Ashley (Bridget Fonda), during the surreal pilgrimage to Graceland.
Peggy Sue Got Married
Peggy Sue Bodell (Kathleen Turner) attends her 25-year high school reunion after separating from her cheating husband, Charlie (Nicolas Cage). She regrets the decisions she has made in her life, such as getting pregnant by Charlie in high school. When she faints at the reunion, she awakens in 1960. Given the chance to relive her life, she changes many things. However, some choices are more complicated, as she begins to see young Charlie's charm and true feelings.
The Nines
Three actors (Ryan Reynolds, Hope Davis, Melissa McCarthy) tackle the principal roles in a trio of stories. In "The Prisoner," a publicist and a neighbor are the only links to the outside world for an actor under house arrest. "Reality Television" charts the production of a TV sitcom. In "Knowing," a video-game designer and his family are stranded in the forest after their car breaks down.
Air
When breathable air becomes nonexistent, two engineers (Norman Reedus, Djimon Hounsou) must guard the remaining survivors who reside in a controlled state of suspended animation.
