No Mercy

After his partner is killed by the merciless crime boss Losado (Jeroen Krabbé), Chicago cop Eddie Jillette (Richard Gere) takes to New Orleans to settle the score. When he finds Losado's mistress, Michel (Kim Basinger), Eddie handcuffs himself to the girl and heads for the bayou in an effort to draw out his rival. And though squatting in a swamp handcuffed to another person is no recipe for romance, Eddie and Michel soon find themselves falling in love even as Losado is closing in.

The Deal

Laura's family dies in a fire while living in Spain, and as she prepares to move back to the United States, she learns their deaths were not accidental. She goes undercover to find out the truth and becomes embroiled in mob crimes.

Desperate Measures

Widowed cop Frank Conner (Andy Garcia) is determined to secure a bone marrow transplant for his son, Matt (Joseph Cross), who will die of leukemia if a suitable donor isn't found. Conner discovers that incarcerated serial murderer Peter McCabe (Michael Keaton) is a match for Matt, and the psychopath eventually agrees to donate marrow, but he escapes from the operating room just before the procedure. Conner quickly follows, but the scheming McCabe won't be easily apprehended.

The Take

Deep in the slums of Los Angeles, good-natured Felix De La Pena (John Leguizamo), a family man and armored vehicle driver, is shot in the head during a hijacking attempt gone wrong. Though his wife, Marina (Rosie Perez), offers her love and support, Felix suffers from intense physical and emotional pain following the attack. As he begins to recover, he learns he has been framed for the stick-up; distraught, Felix decides to find the real culprit himself, despite his failing health and memory.

Kabluey

Leslie (Lisa Kudrow) is left with few options when her husband is sent back to war in the Middle East. A modest amount of help arrives in the form of his brother, Salman (Scott Prendergast), who is less than prepared to care for the couple's two preadolescent boys. When Leslie still can't make ends meet on her own, Salman is forced to find employment, but, with minimal qualifications, his only option is to become a mascot for a digital company by donning a bulbous blue costume.

Whatever It Takes

A nerdy teen, Ryan Woodman (Shane West) is smitten with the popular and gorgeous Ashley Grant (Jodi Lyn O'Keefe), who apparently has no interest in him. Meanwhile, dim star athlete Chris Campbell (James Franco) has his eye on Ryan's brainy and beautiful friend, Maggie Carter (Marla Sokoloff). The two agree to help each other in their romantic quests, but, as they come closer to their goals, both Ryan and Chris suspect that they might be pursuing the wrong girls.
