Christopher Gregor's attorney drilled Breanna Micciolo on her ongoing drug abuse and the Facebook page Justice For Corey that she set up. Records indicate that Breanna reached out to the Department of Child Protection over 100 times in phone calls and emails reporting instances of child abuse by Corey's father in an 18-month period.

Dr. Nancy Deacon evaluated Corey in an emergency appointment made by his mother the day before he died. She was concerned by the bruises and the abrasions on Corey which showed a number of healing bruises on his arms, torso and Shins. What was the full health evaluation of Corey? Dr. Deacon laid it all out for jurors. She noted he had over a dozen bruises and abrasions on him but overall he appeared to be fine physically.

On the stand was Corey's doctor who evaluated him and noted a number of bruises he sustained. Dr. Nancy Deacon got emotional when recalling the conversation she had with Corey about the bruises on his body. She kept asking him how he got them but Corey wouldn't answer. This was her attempt to help him if he was, in fact, abused by his own father.
