Dr. Henry Gwaltney

The Lorena Bobbitt Trial

S1, EP36 "Dr. Henry Gwaltney"

A court-appointed forensic psychologist was called back to the witness stand. This time it was for the prosecution team in their rebuttal case accusing Lorena Bobbitt of intentionally and maliciously wounding her husband, John, when she severed his penis and discarded it. It took three different forensic mental health specialists from one psychiatric hospital in Virginia who interviewed Lorena to evaluate her state of mind. They all found no evidence of temporary insanity.
