Jackson went on to tell jurors not to be fooled by the State's claims. He said John O'Keefe went inside the Albert home after being dropped off and was later beaten up and dumped in the snowy front lawn.

Lead prosecutor Adam Lally dismissed the Defense's long-held belief that a police conspiracy led to a cover-up and Karen Read being framed for murder.

The State displayed a visual exhibit of the timeline of events which included the step-by-step movements of the defendant and the victim. Lead prosecutor Adam Lally highlighted the strained relationship between Karen Read and her boyfriend, claiming this was her motive to kill him. Soon the jury of six men and six women would decide whether she was responsible for O'Keefe's death.
