David and Bathsheba
King David and the beautiful Bathsheba's adulterous love risks David his throne, country and even the wrath of God. Told in occasional flashback, the film sees him conquer Goliath and lead his armies to victory before the prophet Nathan brings the word of Jehovah and His judgment, which sees David atone for his sins.
Panhandle
John Sands (Rod Cameron), a reformed outlaw living in a small Mexican town, learns that his brother has been killed in the Texas Panhandle, and he sets out to investigate. When he arrives, he's confronted by a trio of gunslingers working for Matt Garson (Reed Hadley), a local gambler and saloon owner. He also begins to court June O'Carroll (Anne Gwynne), Garson's secretary. John soon grows to believe Garson is responsible for his brother's death, leading to a final showdown.
Decision at Sundown
Hell-bent on revenge, flinty gunslinger Bart Allison (Randolph Scott) rides into a sleepy Western town with one goal in mind: to kill local roughneck Tate Kimbrough (John Carroll), who kidnapped his wife years ago. Both men have blood on their hands over the woman's eventual suicide. Allison and Kimbrough, wracked with guilt but boiling over with bloodlust, are set to face off for one final confrontation. In debt to steel manufacturer Jim Carter (David Brian), Rose declares she can sell steel wire to stubborn cattle ranchers in Texas and clear her debt. Along the way, Rose is joined by Molly, inventor Charles Masters (Barry Nelson) and cattle baron Joel Kingdom (James Arness).
