So when an order to retrieve the bodies from the battlefield arrives, Benson volunteers for the dangerous mission of returning into Indian territory.

Shoot-Out at Medicine Bend
Just discharged from service, Capt. Devlin (Randolph Scott) and his cavalry pals Maitland (James Garner) and Clegg (Gordon Jones) travel to Devlin's brother's home, but arrive to see the place overrun by American Indians. Devlin's sibling is killed because of his shoddy ammo, so the captain and his friends decide to hunt down the man who sold the bum bullets. They ride into town and find that the culprit is Clark (James Craig), a rich businessman who has the law in his pocket.
