The Man Who Came to Dinner

While on a speaking tour in Ohio, opinionated and arrogant radio personality Sheridan Whiteside (Monty Woolley) injures himself slipping on ice and becomes an unexpected houseguest for a prominent area family, the Stanleys. Whiteside proceeds to make brash proclamations and offer his unsolicited advice to the family members. When a romance begins between Whiteside's assistant, Maggie Cutler (Bette Davis), and a local reporter, Bert Jefferson (Richard Travis), he interferes with that as well.

Fitzwilly

In this clever 1960s comedy, tireless and loyal butler Fitzwilly (Dick Van Dyke) hides from his eccentric spinster boss, Victoria Woodhouse (Edith Evans), the fact that she has been bankrupt since her father died. Through wily schemes with his fellow servants, he creates one racket, swindle or con after another to maintain the household and fund his employer's frivolous philanthropy. When new secretary Juliet (Barbara Feldon) is hired on, Fitzwilly's life gets even more complicated.

Christmas Eve

Matilda Reid (Ann Harding) is in danger of being declared senile at the urging of her nephew, Phillip (Reginald Denny). To keep him from controlling her estate, Matilda must find her three adopted sons, who left home long ago. One of them, Michael (George Brent), lives in New York, where he's incurred a $75,000 debt. Another, fugitive Mario (George Raft), is hiding in South America. The last, Jonathan (Randolph Scott), is a small-time cowboy. All three must come home to save Matilda's fortune.

In Old Cheyenne

Newspaper reporter Steve Blane (Roy Rogers) is sent to Cheyenne, Wyo., to write about frontier outlaw Arapahoe Brown (George "Gabby" Hayes). But as Blane spends time in the cow town, he realizes that the conventional wisdom is all wrong. Arapahoe has been made a scapegoat for crimes perpetrated by power-hungry rancher Sam Drummond (George Rosener). As Blane attempts to report the truth, he finds himself caught in the middle of a dangerous feud between cattlemen and settlers.
