The Incredible Mr. Limpet
Aquatic life fanatic Henry Limpet falls into the sea and transforms into a fish, quickly becoming pals with a crab and developing a romantic bond with a fetching female fish. As a human, Henry was passed over for naval service. But now that he's a fish, he seeks out his friend Lt. George Stickel. Finding him on a small boat in the Atlantic, Henry explains that he can alert sailors when enemy ships are close by, and soon he's helping America win World War II.
Brian's Song
Although they both play for the Chicago Bears, Brian Piccolo (Sean Maher) is white, a joker and mostly rides the bench while Gale Sayers (Mekhi Phifer) is black, serious and a rookie superstar. Neither likes the other much, but when coach Halas (Ben Gazzara) makes them the first interracial roommates in the NFL, the two gradually form a sincere friendship. Piccolo helps Sayers overcome an injury, and Sayers later gives Piccolo much needed support when he's diagnosed with terminal cancer.

The Bad Man
After an outlaw, Pancho Lopez (Wallace Beery), steals cattle from the ranch of Gil (Ronald Reagan) and his uncle Henry (Lionel Barrymore), they face foreclosure to banker Hardy (Henry Travers). When Gil's old love, Lucia (Laraine Day), shows up, her husband (Tom Conway) wants to buy the land, believing there is oil on it. However, Pancho soon arrives and kidnaps everyone except Gil. Pancho realizes that Gil had previously saved his life, so he attempts to help Gil get back on track.
Last Train From Gun Hill
As the wealthiest and most powerful man in the Wild West town of Gun Hill, cattle rancher Craig Belden (Anthony Quinn) has come to believe he's above the law. When his son, Rick (Earl Holliman), rapes and murders a Native American woman (Ziva Rodann) married to U.S. marshal Matt Morgan (Kirk Douglas), Belden arrogantly declines to allow his son's arrest. The marshal, once a friend of Belden's, takes on the rancher's henchmen and Rick's accomplice (Brian Hutton) to bring the killer to justice.

Air Force
On December 6, 1941, the crew of the Mary-Ann (including Arthur Kennedy, George Tobias, John Garfield) heads from California to Hawaii in a routine training flight. On the fateful trip, they witness the attack on Pearl Harbor and are unable to help in their unarmed B-17 bomber. With the Japanese strike spurring the United States into World War II, the crew is reassigned to aid in the defense of the Philippines and endures constant attacks from enemy combatants.
