Desperate Journey
A Royal Air Force bomber with a mission to destroy a rail line crash-lands in Germany after the commanding pilot is shot. The surviving crew, led by Flight Lt. Terry Forbes (Errol Flynn) and including Johnny Hammond (Ronald Reagan) and Jed Forest (Arthur Kennedy), flee the plane as it explodes, but German soldiers capture them and place them in a prison camp. Terry's ability to speak German provides the men a way to overcome the guards and attempt a cross-country escape fraught with peril.
Knute Rockne, All American
Young Norwegian immigrant Knute Rockne (Pat O'Brien) enrolls at Notre Dame University and becomes the first star of its hitherto undistinguished football team, inventing the forward pass among other innovations. Coaching the team after his playing days are through, Rockne turns the school into a football powerhouse thanks in part to freshman halfback George Gipp (Ronald Reagan), whose sudden illness provides the team with its motivation to fight against a bigger, stronger opponent.

Stagecoach employee Tom Folliard (William Lundigan) is sent to manage the desolate Tonto Valley station, deep in Apache territory. As a human, Henry was passed over for naval service. But now that he's a fish, he seeks out his friend Lt. George Stickel. Finding him on a small boat in the Atlantic, Henry explains that he can alert sailors when enemy ships are close by, and soon he's helping America win World War II.
