When the Dutch resistance brings in Carla Van Oven (Lana Turner) to spy on the Nazis, Col. Pieter Deventer (Clark Gable) initially suspects she could be a double agent. Van Oven eventually convinces Deventer of her character, and when she is sent into occupied territory, she joins up with a rebel leader known as "The Scarf" (Victor Mature). As the resistance endures severe losses and their missions fail, Deventer starts to wonder whose side Van Oven is fighting on.

Ride the High Country

Reduced to transporting gold from a distant mine to a small-town bank, retired lawman Steve Judd (Joel McCrea) recruits friend Gil Westrum (Randolph Scott), who has been performing in a traveling carnival. Unknown to Steve, the restless Gil and a young drifter intend to steal the next gold transport. On the way, the men help Elsa Knudsen (Mariette Hartley) to break free from her zealot father and join her fiancé at the mine, not realizing the consequences that await them all.

In late 19th-century New York City, stockbroker Clarence Day (William Powell) strives to maintain order in his bustling household. To gain more respect, Clarence reluctantly considers making changes that will benefit everyone, including his own baptism. This slice-of-life comedy was based on a popular Broadway play.

Dee Dee (Annette Funicello) and Frankie (Frankie Avalon) are primed to hit the beach for some fun in the sun. Brewster's Millions

After receiving his military discharge, Monty Brewster (Dennis O'Keefe) learns that his deceased uncle has left him $8 million -- with the odd stipulation that he must spend $1 million of it before noon of his 30th birthday. With two months before the day, Monty, who must also remain single and keep the terms secret, mystifies and then angers his fiancée, Peggy (Helen Walker), by postponing their wedding before discovering just how difficult it can be to spend a million dollars.
