The Life and Legend of Wyatt Earp

S3, EP13 "Indian Wife"

While Dick Delaney and his Cheyenne wife, Laura, visit Dodge City, a lecherous man confronts Laura, forcing her to shoot him; Laura retreats to find protection with her father, a chieftain who wants Dick to kill the man who assaulted her.

Beach Party

Dolores (Annette Funicello) and Frankie (Frankie Avalon), attractive young surfers in Southern California, are just out for a good time. Their relaxed lifestyle fascinates Professor Sutwell (Bob Cummings), an anthropologist who decides to study the social lives of teens. A series of beach-themed films would follow the blueprint set by this one, which hinges on romantic rivalries, rugged motorcyclists, an attempted crime and plenty of handsome people.

Aces High

Maj. Gresham (Malcolm McDowell) is a flying ace who oversees a group of English pilots during World War I. His latest recruit is Lt. Croft (Peter Firth), who happens to have been only a few years behind Gresham at Eton. Croft idolizes Gresham at first, but the image of his hero is tarnished when he learns of Gresham's private habits, especially his predilection for alcohol. It's only after Croft himself has endured the crucible of war that he comes to fully appreciate his commanding officer.

Ride the High Country

Reduced to transporting gold from a distant mine to a small-town bank, retired lawman Steve Judd (Joel McCrea) recruits friend Gil Westrum (Randolph Scott), who has been performing in a traveling carnival. Unknown to Steve, the restless Gil and a young drifter intend to steal the next gold transport. On the way, the men help Elsa Knudsen (Mariette Hartley) to break free from her zealot father and join her fiancé at the mine, not realizing the consequences that await them all.

Three Hours to Kill

The inhabitants of a small western community turn on Jim Guthrie (Dana Andrews) when he becomes the prime suspect for a murder he didn't commit. Before getting a chance to prove his innocence, Jim is driven from his home and into the wilderness, where he is left for dead. Despite the danger, he comes back years later, discovering that he's still a wanted man. But a kindhearted local named Chris (Dianne Foster) believes his story, and together they begin a desperate search for the true culprit.

Man in the Saddle

A wounded rancher (Randolph Scott) hides with a schoolmarm (Ellen Drew) after his ex-girlfriend's husband (Alexander Knox) runs him out of town.

The Undefeated

Unaware that the Civil War has ended, Col. John Henry Thomas (John Wayne) successfully attacks a Confederate company led by James Langdon (Rock Hudson). With the remnants of Langdon's squadron fleeing to Mexico, Thomas and his adopted Native American son, Blue Boy (Roman Gabriel), gather a herd of horses and head for the border with their company, to sell them. After Langdon's caravan is captured by a Mexican general (Tony Aguilar), Thomas nobly sacrifices the horses to free them.

Betrayed

When the Dutch resistance brings in Carla Van Oven (Lana Turner) to spy on the Nazis, Col. Pieter Deventer (Clark Gable) initially suspects she could be a double agent. Van Oven eventually convinces Deventer of her character, and when she is sent into occupied territory, she joins up with a rebel leader known as "The Scarf" (Victor Mature). As the resistance endures severe losses and their missions fail, Deventer starts to wonder whose side Van Oven is fighting on.
