Lou refuses when he learns that ranchers can't make supply purchases unless they join with Saunders. When their ranch is attacked in retaliation and foreman Pop Mason (Si Jenks) is wounded, Lou and Peggy organize against Saunders.

Edward, Earl of Granville (Ra Hould), and his family solicitor (John Ward) travel from Great Britain to the American Southwest to sell a ranch owned by the young noble's late father. Foreman Gene (Gene Autry) and his sidekick, Frog (Smiley Burnette), convince Edward to keep the ranch, but rival land owner Jim Neale (Gordon Elliott) wants it for himself. A horse race whose winner will receive a lucrative contract with a nearby military base could raise enough money to settle the ranch's debts.
