When the esteemed Judge John Grey (Harry Shannon) finds himself on trial for the robbery of a local bank, singing cowboy Roy Rogers (Roy Rogers) comes to his friend's aid. Rogers suspects a frame-up, and the trail of clues leads directly to the crafty Belle Bonner (Ona Munson), a woman whose disreputable saloon has recently sparked the judge's ire. To clear Grey's name, Rogers must convince the townspeople of his innocence -- and face off against Belle and her gunslinging henchmen.
Kentucky Rifle
One of the wagons attached to a wagon train has a damaged axle. Because the train has a strict schedule to follow, the broken wagon is left behind. Jason Clay (Lance Fuller) and Tobias Taylor (Chill Wills) repair the axle, and the situation appears to be remedied. But then the wagon crew runs into a bigger problem -- they are in Comanche territory, and the Comanche refuse to let them pass unless they hand over the hundred Kentucky rifles on board.

Their ranch becomes successful, and Paxton eventually marries Dan's sister, Abby (Frances Gifford) -- but Beauchard soon returns to challenge them.

Corrupt Wisconsin lumberman Jim Fallon (Kirk Douglas) travels to Northern California at the dawn of the 20th century in order to gain control of a tract of redwood forest. Fallon's underhanded tactics stir resentment from everyone, including settler Elder Bixby (Charles Meredith) ; his beautiful daughter, Alicia (Eve Miller) ; Fallon's fair-minded employee, Yukon Burns (Edgar Buchanan) ; and his right-hand man, Frenchy LeCroix (John Archer) -- and his cheating ways create unlikely bedfellows.

Buffalo hide trader Tom Doan comes to the aid of Jude Pilchuk, a fellow hunter whose wagon was run off of the trail by white thieves disguised as raiding American Indians. When Jett then kidnaps Milly and disappears into the wild, Doan must track down and outsmart Jett's gang to save the woman he loves.

Greedy Sam Harrison (Robert Lowery) gets wind of the map, however, and attempts to violently upset their plans. After Harrison defeats Bob, Bobby and his stallion, King, must confront the dangerous man.
