Call of the Forest

As prospector Bob Brand (Ken Curtis) searches for riches from a lost gold mine, his son Bobby (Charlie Hughes) befriends an American Indian named Stormcloud (Chief Thundercloud). As a reward for Bobby's kindness, Stormcloud provides him with a map to the mine, so he can help his father's search. Greedy Sam Harrison (Robert Lowery) gets wind of the map, however, and attempts to violently upset their plans. After Harrison defeats Bob, Bobby and his stallion, King, must confront the dangerous man.

The Cowboy and the Senorita

Things go from bad to worse for singing cowboy Roy Rogers (Roy Rogers) and his trusty companion, Teddy Bear (Guinn "Big Boy" Williams), when, after losing their jobs at a local café, the pair are accused of having kidnapped young Chip Williams (Mary Lee) who, in reality, is merely a runaway who's been tagging along with the cowpokes. But amidst these problems, Roy and his partner decide to team up with the girl and her half-sister, Ysobel (Dale Evans), and search for some long-buried treasure.

Not long after ambitious prospector J. Malcolm Vanderpool (Charles Coleman) takes an interest in the run-down remnants of a small frontier town, fortune seekers from all over rush to gain a silver mine of their own. Among these hopeful miners is cowboy Roy Rogers (Roy Rogers). But he's had little reward and debts are rising, making a buyout offer from engineer Regan (Robert Livingston) more intriguing. However, Vanderpool's secretary (Jane Frazee) suspects something is amiss in this town.

Hands Across the Border

In this musical Western, rival horse-breeders Jeff Adams (Joseph Crehan) and Brock Danvers (Onslow Stevens) are in a fierce competition over a lucrative government contract. But the hopes of the Adams family are dashed after Jeff dies while riding the tempestuous stallion Trigger. To the rescue, then, comes quintessential cowboy Roy Rogers (Roy Rogers), who saves the horse from vengeful slaughter and aims to train him in the hope of securing the contract on behalf of his departed friend.

Newspaper reporter Steve Blane (Roy Rogers) is sent to Cheyenne, Wyo., to write about frontier outlaw Arapahoe Brown (George "Gabby" Hayes). But as Blane spends time in the cow town, he realizes that the conventional wisdom is all wrong. Arapahoe has been made a scapegoat for crimes perpetrated by power-hungry rancher Sam Drummond (George Rosener). As Blane attempts to report the truth, he finds himself caught in the middle of a dangerous feud between cattlemen and settlers.

At one time not so long ago, Milt Brower (William Farnum) and Pa Jackson (Stanley Andrews) were peaceable partners in a thriving cattle business. Now divided, the two are engaged in an embittered land dispute that turns ugly when Jackson accuses Brower of the dastardly crime of cattle rustling. Faithful cowboy Roy Rogers (Roy Rogers) steps in to defend his old friend Brower, making him a hero in the eyes of Brower's doting and dainty daughter, Claire (Mary Hart).

Corrupt Wisconsin lumberman Jim Fallon (Kirk Douglas) travels to Northern California at the dawn of the 20th century in order to gain control of a tract of redwood forest. Fallon's underhanded tactics stir resentment from everyone, including settler Elder Bixby (Charles Meredith) ; his beautiful daughter, Alicia (Eve Miller) ; Fallon's fair-minded employee, Yukon Burns (Edgar Buchanan) ; and his right-hand man, Frenchy LeCroix (John Archer) -- and his cheating ways create unlikely bedfellows.

Jerry Mason (John Wayne), fresh out of college back East, heads home to Texas to join a blacksmith business with family friend Jake (George Hayes). But when they discover a gold nugget in a horseshoe, they're led down a dangerous path, as crooks Joe Cole (Yakima Canutt) and Harris (Lloyd Whitlock) scheme to take the rock from the unsuspecting Jerry and Jake. This ultimately gets Jake shot and wounded, lands Jerry in jail unjustly and leaves the pair plotting to get revenge on the criminals.
