South of the Border

Secret agent Gene Autry (Gene Autry) and partner Frog (Smiley Burnette) are sent to Mexico on a dangerous mission. There Gene takes a liking to a local lady named Dolores (Lupita Tovar). But, when his bosses reveal to Gene his task, he's stunned to learn that the target of his criminal investigation is his new love's brother, Andreo (Duncan Renaldo). The job takes Gene and Frog to the island of Palermo, Italy, where they discover that greedy Andreo's dealings are about to foment a war.

Rawhide

Baseball great Lou Gehrig retires and decides to buy a ranch in the small Western town of Rawhide with his sister, Peggy (Evalyn Knapp). Upon arrival, Lou and Peggy are pressured by Ed Saunders (Arthur Loft) to join the protection association he runs. Lou refuses when he learns that ranchers can't make supply purchases unless they join with Saunders. When their ranch is attacked in retaliation and foreman Pop Mason (Si Jenks) is wounded, Lou and Peggy organize against Saunders.

Rovin' Tumbleweeds

But there's more needed in town than dollars, as sinister businessman Stephen Holloway (Douglas Dumbrille) conspires with Rep. Fuller (Gordon Hart) to block political action that would help the ranchers. Inspired, Gene runs for Congress and makes it to Washington, D.C., where he hopes to get to the bottom of Fuller and Holloway's scheme and save the day.

The Gold Rush

Breezy travels to Cheyenne, Wyo., to recuperate at his family's ranch, but is surprised to find Joe Carter (Matthew Betz), a bootlegger from New York, running a speakeasy in Cheyenne with his daughter, Ruth (Marceline Day). Breezy discovers that Carter is working with Owens to make the place a major crime hub. Despite his injury, the lawman sets out to clean up his hometown.

Buffalo Stampede

Buffalo hide trader Tom Doan comes to the aid of Jude Pilchuk, a fellow hunter whose wagon was run off of the trail by white thieves disguised as raiding American Indians. Doan and Pilchuk investigate and discover that Randall Jet-- the abusive father of Doan's love interest Milly Fayre-- is to blame. When Jett then kidnaps Milly and disappears into the wild, Doan must track down and outsmart Jett's gang to save the woman he loves.
