Malcolm Vanderpool (Charles Coleman) takes an interest in the run-down remnants of a small frontier town, fortune seekers from all over rush to gain a silver mine of their own. Among these hopeful miners is cowboy Roy Rogers (Roy Rogers). But he's had little reward and debts are rising, making a buyout offer from engineer Regan (Robert Livingston) more intriguing. However, Vanderpool's secretary (Jane Frazee) suspects something is amiss in this town.

Hands Across the Border

In this musical Western, rival horse-breeders Jeff Adams (Joseph Crehan) and Brock Danvers (Onslow Stevens) are in a fierce competition over a lucrative government contract. But the hopes of the Adams family are dashed after Jeff dies while riding the tempestuous stallion Trigger. Now divided, the two are engaged in an embittered land dispute that turns ugly when Jackson accuses Brower of the dastardly crime of cattle rustling. Faithful cowboy Roy Rogers (Roy Rogers) steps in to defend his old friend Brower, making him a hero in the eyes of Brower's doting and dainty daughter, Claire (Mary Hart).

Springtime in the Rockies

Just out of animal husbandry school, Sandra Knight (Polly Rowles) boldly decides to make changes on the ranch she has just inherited, and to raise sheep instead of cattle. Experienced foreman Gene Autry (Gene Autry) tries to warn her against this hasty conversion, but Sandra stubbornly ignores his advice. Before long, her business is failing, and she may be forced to sell to the shifty Briggs (Al Bridge). However, Gene has a plan that he hopes can set things right just in time.

Springtime in the Sierras

A gang of poachers must be stopped as they kill and sell game out of season. Roy figures out who the culprits are and goes undercover to investigate further.
