The Last Challenge
Hotshot gunfighter Lot McGuire (Chad Everett) intends to make a name for himself by out-duelling legendary bandit-turned-lawman Marshal Dan Blaine (Glenn Ford). Before any bullets fly, however, Lot and his intended enemy strike up an unlikely friendship, and Blaine tries to convince the youngster to call off the shootout. Unfortunately, Lot can't be talked out of his quest for glory and so he guns down a few hostile locals, leaving Blaine no choice but to finally accept the offer for a showdown.
Jeremiah Johnson
A Mexican-American War veteran, Jeremiah Johnson (Robert Redford), heads to the mountains to live in isolation. Woefully unequipped for the task at hand, Johnson is fortunate to come across a seasoned mountain man (Will Geer) willing to teach him the necessary survival tactics. As life continues in the mountains, Johnson finds himself a native bride (Delle Bolton) and an adopted son (Josh Albee). However, their peaceful existence is threatened when Johnson incurs the ire of the Crow Indians.

Questions arise when Senator Stoddard (James Stewart) attends the funeral of a local man named Tom Doniphon (John Wayne) in a small Western town. Flashing back, we learn Doniphon saved Stoddard, then a lawyer, when he was roughed up by a crew of outlaws terrorizing the town, led by Liberty Valance (Lee Marvin). As the territory's safety hung in the balance, Doniphon and Stoddard, two of the only people standing up to him, proved to be very important, but different, foes to Valance.

Gunman Martin Brady (Robert Mitchum) is an American exiled in Mexico for the revenge killing of his father's assassin. Brady, a henchman of the ruthless Castro crime family, travels across the border to Texas to negotiate the sale of black market rifles. When a broken leg delays Brady's return to Mexico, U.S. Army Maj. Colton (Gary Merrill) and Texas Ranger Capt. Rucker (Albert Dekker) attempt to enlist Brady as a sharpshooter in their war against the Apaches.
Drango
With the Civil War still a fresh memory, Maj. Clint Drango (Jeff Chandler) of the Union Army must restore order to Kennesaw Pass, Georgia. However, even with the trusty Capt. Marc Banning (John Lupton) along, he faces a distrustful town, as well as former Confederates led by the manipulative Clay Allen (Ronald Howard). A high-stakes battle of wills ensues as Drango, who hides a dark secret related to the town, must win the people's support to prevent the Union Army from intervening.
