El Dorado

Heartless tycoon Bart Jason (Edward Asner) hires a group of thugs to force the MacDonald family out of El Dorado so he can claim their land. J.P. Harrah, the town's sheriff, is too deep in the throes of alcoholism to help the family. When Harrah's friend, noble elder gunfighter Cole Thorton (John Wayne), learns of the predicament, he travels to El Dorado with his upstart friend, Mississippi (James Caan), to help Harrah clean up in time for a shootout against Jason's men.

Tall in the Saddle

Cowboy Rocklin rides into a dusty western township where he's been promised work on a ranch. But when he finds that his future boss has been gunned down, he's forced to find work elsewhere. Despite his sexist attitudes, Rocklin charms the fiery Arly with his cavalier bravado and lands a job at her family's ranch. There, however, he learns that Judge Garvey was involved in his original employer's murder and is now trying to steal the dead man's land.

The Undefeated

Unaware that the Civil War has ended, Col. John Henry Thomas (John Wayne) successfully attacks a Confederate company led by James Langdon (Rock Hudson). With the remnants of Langdon's squadron fleeing to Mexico, Thomas and his adopted Native American son, Blue Boy (Roman Gabriel), gather a herd of horses and head for the border with their company, to sell them. After Langdon's caravan is captured by a Mexican general (Tony Aguilar), Thomas nobly sacrifices the horses to free them.

Jesse James

Jesse James and his brother Frank swear revenge on the St. Louis Midland Railroad after a company representative kills their mother. The boys begin robbing rail passengers and soon expand their activities to include banks. However, when some of the gang are killed after a tip-off, Jesse considers going straight.

The Return of Frank James

When Jesse James's murderers are set free, his brother Frank vows revenge and, accompanied by his gang, sets out to track them down. To fund his manhunt, he robs an express office and is subsequently wrongly accused of the clerk's murder, but a newspaper reporter is determined to find out the truth.
