The Over-the-Hill Gang
Looking to reform the corrupt government of his Old West town, newspaperman Jeff Rose is running for mayor against officeholder Nard Lundy (Edward Andrews). Jeff's campaign lacks the incumbent's muscle and money, and his quest looks hopeless until the arrival of his father-in-law, Capt. Oren Hayes (Pat O'Brien). Joined by three fellow former Texas lawmen (Walter Brennan, Edgar Buchanan, Chill Wills), Oren and his daughter, Hannah, help Jeff fight back against his antagonist's dirty tactics.
The Over-the-Hill Gang Rides Again
Four retired Texas Rangers -- Nash Crawford (Walter Brennan), Jason Fitch (Edgar Buchanan), Amos Polk (Andy Devine), and Gentleman George Agnew (Chill Wills) -- leap to the aid of their old chum the Baltimore Kid (Fred Astaire). The Kid has become a hopeless drunk, and they aim to clean him up and install him as marshal of Waco, Texas. But in order to complete the job, the geriatric quartet will have to help the Kid defeat the outlaw gang that wants him dead.
Ride Lonesome
Bounty hunter Ben Brigade (Randolph Scott) is on his way to California with his prisoner, Billy John (James Best), who is unaware that Brigade is really after his brother, Frank (Lee Van Cleef). The pair stop at a frontier post and find themselves defending the poorly guarded settlement from a Native American assault. When the widow Mrs. Lane (Karen Steele) decides to accompany them to Santa Cruz, Brigade enlists the aid of two outlaws who may have a hidden agenda of their own.

Frenchie Fontaine (Shelley Winters), orphaned at 15, has made a comfortable living running a New Orleans casino. A series of mishaps unexpectedly lands Tom in prison -- and Frenchie, having fallen in love with him, is left on her own to sort out the mess.

Traveling from the East to the Wild West, Beth Martin (Adele Mara) finds herself caught in a feud between saloon proprietors Mike Prescott (Forrest Tucker) and Lincoln Corey (Jim Davis). Although Lincoln tries to win the heart of the lovely Beth, she finds herself attracted to the dashing Mike, adding more fuel to their ongoing conflict. Meanwhile, Beth's brother is supposed to have been toiling away in a mine, but it turns out that he hasn't been so successful, disappointing his dear sister.

Comanche Station
When solitary cowboy Jefferson Cody (Randolph Scott) hears tales of a white woman living as a captive of the Comanche tribe, he rides deep into the tribe's territory to exchange goods for her freedom. As Cody escorts the captive woman away, he learns that she is Nancy Lowe (Nancy Gates), and that there is a sizable reward offered by her husband for her return. Cody and Mrs. Lowe must brave ruthless bounty hunters greedy for the reward, as well as the now-warring Comanches, to make it to safety.
