Fort Apache

When arrogant and stubborn Civil War hero Lieutenant Colonel Owen Thursday (Henry Fonda) arrives in Arizona with his daughter, Philadelphia (Shirley Temple), to assume command of the Fort Apache outpost, he clashes with level-headed Captain Kirby York (John Wayne). Viewing the local Native Americans through an ignorantly negative lens, Thursday is determined to engage them in battle for his own glory, despite the warnings of York -- an act of folly that will have dire consequences.

Man With the Gun

Sheridan City is out of control. The citizens are corrupt, the saloon is an immoral indulgence, and gunmen and greedy opportunists come and go as they please. With the town's lawman (Henry Hull) incapable of maintaining order, the town council brings in a hired gun, Clint Tollinger (Robert Mitchum), who has business of his own with the saloon madame (Jan Sterling). Tollinger sets about proving his reputation as a "town tamer" through his signature approach: eradicating violence with violence.

Young Billy Young

Fleeing the scene of a gruesome gunfight in Mexico, Billy Young (Robert Walker) arrives in the small town of Lordsburg, where he is promptly deputized by local sheriff Ben Kane (Robert Mitchum).
