The Last of the Mohicans

The last members of a dying Native American tribe, the Mohicans -- Uncas, his father Chingachgook, and his adopted half-white brother Hawkeye -- live in peace alongside British colonists. But when the daughters of a British colonel are kidnapped by a traitorous scout, Hawkeye and Uncas must rescue them in the crossfire of a gruesome military conflict of which they wanted no part: the French and Indian War.

Cattle Empire

Recently released from jail, ex-convict cowboy John Cord (Joel McCrea) is hired to drive a large herd of cattle to Fort Clemson. However, the man who hires him turns out to be the very same person that had Cord thrown in jail five years earlier for vandalizing his town in an alcohol-induced rampage. Though this town leader does not remember Cord, Cord remembers him all too well. He takes the job, knowing this could be the perfect opportunity to get back at the man who destroyed his life.

Union vet Ned (Joel McCrea), gunned down by some tough cattle rustlers, comes to in a wagon train under the care of kindly widow Ellen (Virginia Mayo). But, as he heals, he senses all is not well, and realizes that the suspicious men leading the train are taking the settlers to land owned by his estranged half-brother, an embittered man who will shoot any strangers. Ned then tries to warn the pioneers, while preparing to face the sibling who harbors a deep-seated grudge against him.

After the Civil War ends, Confederate soldiers Frank (Gabriel Macht) and Jesse James (Colin Farrell) return home with the three Younger brothers to learn that railroad baron Thaddeus Rains (Harris Yulin) is trying to drive Missouri citizens out of their homes. When both families resist, the James boys' mother (Kathy Bates) is murdered. Furious, the two groups of brothers team up for a series of robberies designed to hurt the railroad. Detective Allan Pinkerton (Timothy Dalton) pursues them.

The Lawless Eighties

Brother Van (John Smith), a circuit rider, goes off to warn the U.S. Cavalry after he witnesses a gang of white men cruelly abusing a group of Sioux Indians. The crooks behind the attack, who are plotting a land grab, are hoping to wipe out both the Sioux and local settlers by inciting a war. The nasty gang intercepts and guns down Brother Van before he can get the word out, but gunfighter Linc Prescott (Buster Crabbe) chances upon the injured man and agrees to help him stop the war.
