The Law vs. Billy the Kid
After riding into New Mexico, William Bonney and Pat Garrett are hired by rancher John Tunstall. Bonney's hard work wins Tunstall over, but his romance with the old man's niece makes foreman Bob Ollinger jealous. Learning of Bonney's criminal past, Ollinger leads a posse against him that kills Tunstall instead. Bonney vows to avenge his boss' death, and his ensuing killing spree earns him the nickname "Billy the Kid."
The Black Whip
John Murdock (Paul Richards) is a notorious outlaw who leads the vicious gang known as the Blacklegs. Armed with his signature black whip, he and his men invade a small town, looking to stir up trouble. In between harassing the girls at the saloon and attacking the locals, the Blacklegs are plotting a bigger scheme: kidnapping the governor of Kentucky (Patrick O'Moore) and holding him for ransom. The only man who stands in their way is former Confederate officer Lorn Crawford (Hugh Marlowe).
Whispering Smith
Luke Whispering Smith (Alan Ladd) is a mild-mannered policeman tasked with stopping a gang of train robbers, led by Barney Rebstock (Donald Crisp). Luke is faced with a conflict of interest when his good friend, Murray Sinclair (Robert Preston), loses his railroad job and, in an act of defiance, joins Rebstock's gang of outlaws. To make things even more complicated, Luke's friendship with Murray's ex-wife, Marian (Brenda Marshall), is becoming romantic.
Saskatchewan
Canadian Mountie O'Rourke (Alan Ladd) and his Cree companion, Cajou (Jay Silverheels), come upon the scorched remains of a wagon train and find beautiful lone survivor Grace (Shelley Winters), who claims the attack was carried out by American Indians. Realizing the attack is only the beginning, the men fear war between the American Sioux, the Canadian Cree and the whites. O'Rourke must now protect his troops from further attack and save Grace from being extradited to Montana on a murder charge.

Appaloosa
Virgil Cole (Ed Harris) and his longtime friend and partner Everett Hitch (Viggo Mortensen) travel the 1880s Southwest, bringing justice to lawless towns desperate enough to hire them. In the mining town of Appaloosa, malevolent rancher Randall Bragg and his cronies ride roughshod over the frightened citizens. As Cole and Hitch work to end Bragg's reign of terror, an unconventional widow (Renee Zellweger) arrives, complicating the job and threatening their bond.
Destry Rides Again
The small town of Bottleneck is under the control of Kent (Brian Donlevy), a power-hungry boss who gets control over the local cattle ranchers by winning a rigged game of cards. When the local sheriff questions the legitimacy of the game, Kent has him killed and names the town drunk, Dimsdale (Charles Winninger), as sheriff. What Kent doesn't know is that Dimsdale knows legendary lawman Tom Destry, who in turn sends his daring son Tom Destry Jr. (James Stewart) to Bottleneck to save the day.
