The Secret of NIMH

Mrs. Brisby (Elizabeth Hartman), a widowed mouse, must move her children out of their home in a field before the local farmer starts plowing. Unable to leave because her son is ill, Mrs. Brisby seeks the help of nearby rats, who have heightened intelligence after being the subjects of scientific experiments. She receives an unexpected gift from the elder rat, Nicodemus (Derek Jacobi). Soon Mrs. Brisby is caught in a conflict among the rats, jeopardizing her mission to save her family.

The Importance of Being Earnest

Two young gents have taken to bending the truth in order to put some excitement into their lives. Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey

Amiable slackers Bill (Alex Winter) and Ted (Keanu Reeves) are once again roped into a fantastical adventure when De Nomolos (Joss Ackland), a villain from the future, sends evil robot duplicates of the two lads to terminate and replace them. The robot doubles actually succeed in killing Bill and Ted, but the two are determined to escape the afterlife, challenging the Grim Reaper (William Sadler) to a series of games in order to return to the land of the living.

Missing in Action 2: The Beginning

Ten years after being captured by sadistic Vietnamese Col. Yin (Oh Soon-tek) in 1972, Col. James Braddock (Chuck Norris) and his men are still prisoners deep in the jungle. Resigned to being abandoned by his government, Capt. David Nester (Steven Williams) has become Yin's henchman, while the rest of the soldiers remain strong. Despite constant torture, Braddock refuses to sign a confession of cowardice, biding his time until he can escape and take revenge.

While Col. James Braddock (Chuck Norris) was serving in Vietnam, he fell in love with a woman named Lin Tan Cang (Miki Kim). However, he thought her to be dead and returned to the United States without her. Years later, Braddock is told that Lin is alive -- along with her son that he fathered. Acting against a direct order from the CIA, and with the help of a foreign missionary (Yehuda Efroni), he returns to Vietnam to find his family, taking on a communist general (Aki Aleong) along the way.

The former musketeer Athos (John Malkovich) swears vengeance after despotic King Louis XIV (Leonardo DiCaprio) causes the death of his son. Summoning his old comrades Porthos (Gérard Depardieu) and Aramis (Jeremy Irons), he hatches a plan to liberate a shackled prisoner rumored to be the king's twin brother, and then install him on the throne. But the three musketeers must also contend with their old friend D'Artagnan (Gabriel Byrne), who has remained in the king's service.

True Grit

After hired hand Tom Chaney (Jeff Corey) murders the father of 14-year-old Mattie Ross (Kim Darby), she seeks vengeance and hires U.S. Marshal Rooster Cogburn (John Wayne), a man of true grit, to track Chaney into Indian territory. As the two begin their pursuit, a Texas Ranger, La Boeuf (Glen Campbell), joins the manhunt in hopes of capturing Chaney for the murder of a Texas senator and collecting a substantial reward. The three clash on their quest of bringing to justice the same man.

Coffy

As a nurse, Coffy (Pam Grier) has seen the ill effects of drugs up close, but it isn't until her little sister becomes addicted to heroin that she finally decides to wage a one-woman battle. Disguised as a prostitute, Coffy goes on a killing rampage, at first going after street dealers and pimps such as sleazy King George (Robert DoQui), then gradually working her way up to bigger honchos. She's shocked, however, when she discovers that her politician boyfriend (Booker Bradshaw) is involved.

Dirty Work

Friends Sam (Artie Lange) and Mitch (Norm Macdonald) need $50,000 to pay for Sam's dad's heart surgery. When they're fired for getting revenge on their abusive theater-owner boss, they have a great money-making idea: a revenge-for-hire business. The friends are soon successful, but not all their clients are good customers. When real estate developer Travis Cole (Christopher McDonald) tricks them into vandalizing a building that isn't his, Sam and Mitch concoct their best revenge plan yet.

When Robert and his wife move to her childhood home, he discovers an old portrait in the attic of a man who looks just like him. He soon travels down a frightening rabbit hole as he tries to discover the true identity of his mysterious doppelgänger, only to realize that every family has its own terrifying secrets.

Lady Jane

King Henry VIII has died, and his only heir, a young Edward VI (Warren Saire), is dying too. Minister John Dudley (John Wood) doesn't want the Roman Catholic Princess Mary (Jane Lapotaire) to become queen, as that would end the Protestant Reformation. Dudley plots to keep Edward alive long enough to name Lady Jane Grey (Helena Bonham Carter) as his heir and also marries Jane to his son, Guilford (Cary Elwes). Jane and Guilford soon fall in love, but the kingdom doesn't believe they should rule.

Heaven's Gate

Harvard graduate James Averill (Kris Kristofferson) is the sheriff of prosperous Jackson County, Wyo., when a battle erupts between the area's poverty-stricken immigrants and its wealthy cattle farmers. The politically connected ranch owners fight the immigrants with the help of Nathan Champion (Christopher Walken), a mercenary competing with Averill for the love of local madam Ella Watson (Isabelle Huppert). As the struggle escalates, Averill and Champion begin to question their decisions.

The Mod Squad

Julie (Claire Danes) is on her way to jail for assault. Arsonist Linc (Omar Epps) is looking at serious prison time. And Pete (Giovanni Ribisi) is about to be sent away for robbery. Unexpectedly, a Los Angeles police captain named Adam Greer (Dennis Farina) makes them a deal: If they agree to work as an undercover unit investigating drug dealers who prey on teens, Greer will wipe their slates clean. A tragic turn of events quickly finds Julie, Linc and Pete working to clear their names.

In an alternate 1980s, the United States stands alone as communism grows stronger. When Soviet soldiers invade a small Colorado town, brothers Jed and Matt Eckert escape with friends to the forest. With their father, Tom, a prisoner of the invading army, the children decide to fight against the Soviets. As the country comes under increasing attack, the group teams up with Lt. Col. Andrew Tanner to take back their town.
