The Desperate Hours
Three escaped felons (Humphrey Bogart, Dewey Martin, Robert Middleton) randomly target a suburban house to hide out in until midnight, when an accomplice plans to deliver them money. They take the entire family hostage -- but midnight comes and goes without a delivery. As their stay extends from hours into days, homeowner Dan Hilliard (Fredric March) complies with the felons' no-police demands to protect his wife and two children, while trying to plot an escape from the desperate situation.

King Kong
When a research ship is sent to explore an island thought to be rich in oil, paleontologist Jack Prescott (Jeff Bridges) sneaks aboard, having heard strange rumors about the island. En route, the crew rescues Dwan (Jessica Lange), the sole survivor of a shipwreck. When they arrive, they find native people living in fear of a monster called Kong. The natives kidnap Dwan and sacrifice her to what turns out to be an enormous ape. Dwan is eventually rescued, and the ape captured for a gala exhibit.

David Raskin is a high-school science nerd who dreams of going to MIT. When he and his friends find his late father's plans for a "temporal displacement device," David can't wait to start tinkering. When they finally get the device to work, the teenagers jump at the opportunity to manipulate time in their favor -- but their joy is short-lived when they begin to discover the consequences of their actions.

Into the Blue
Divers Sam and Jared love life in the Bahamas. But when friends Bryce and Amanda visit, the couple take them on a treasure-hunting trip, where they discover more than they bargained for, a downed airplane full of cocaine alongside a famous shipwreck. Unknown to Sam and Jared, Bryce makes a fatal mistake and decides to sell the cocaine, which angers a group of drug dealers, who are in hot pursuit of the divers.
Curse of the Pink Panther
When legendary Inspector Clouseau (Roger Moore) goes missing, New York police officer Clifton Sleigh (Ted Wass) is enlisted to find him. But Sleigh turns out to be the only detective in the world more incompetent than Clouseau himself. Traveling to France, Sleigh bumbles his way into and out of trouble, while encountering a number of characters from Clouseau's past, including the charismatic jewel thief Charles Litton (David Niven) and his womanizing nephew, George (Robert Wagner).
Life Is Beautiful
A gentle Jewish-Italian waiter, Guido Orefice (Roberto Benigni), meets Dora (Nicoletta Braschi), a pretty schoolteacher, and wins her over with his charm and humor. Eventually they marry and have a son, Giosue (Giorgio Cantarini). Their happiness is abruptly halted, however, when Guido and Giosue are separated from Dora and taken to a concentration camp. Determined to shelter his son from the horrors of his surroundings, Guido convinces Giosue that their time in the camp is merely a game.
