Sea Wife
After their vessel is sunk by a Japanese submarine off the coast of Singapore during World War II, a beautiful nun (Joan Collins), a black purser (Cy Grant), a military officer (Richard Burton) and a racist businessman (Basil Sydney) escape in a small lifeboat. Tensions mount as the group drifts through the ocean, rations supplies and struggles to survive under the harsh sun. The military officer soon falls in love with the nun, unaware of her true identity.
Guadalcanal Diary
Filmed just months after the actual allied invasion of Guadalcanal late in 1942, this patriotic feature follows a ragtag group of Marines sent to fight in the South Pacific. As steely Sgt. Malone (Lloyd Nolan), Brooklyn wiseguy Potts (William Bendix) and the teenaged Anderson (Richard Jaeckel) prepare for battle, they are taken aback when they initially meet no resistance. Rattled by stealthy Japanese snipers, the Marines struggle to stay alive as they plan a major offensive against the enemy.

The Hound of the Baskervilles

Flaming Star
In this Western set on the Texas frontier, Pacer Burton (Elvis Presley) is the mixed-race son of a white rancher (John McIntire) and his second wife, Kiowa woman Neddy (Dolores del Río). When some local racists cause Neddy's death by preventing the doctor from coming to her aid, a war between the whites and the tribe erupts. As the war threatens to drive a wedge between Pacer and his white brother, Clint (Steve Forrest), he takes matters into his own hands.
The Comancheros
After his partner is killed, aging Texas Ranger Jake Cutter (John Wayne) is assigned to capture gambler Paul Regret (Stuart Whitman), a condemned prisoner who managed to escape hanging, and return him to Louisiana to face his sentence. But once Cutter has him in custody, they encounter the Comancheros, a fierce band of outlaws providing guns and booze to the Comanches, and are forced to work together to stop them. When Regret proves his worth in the fight, Cutter begins to reevaluate his duties.
All Quiet on the Western Front
At the start of World War I, Paul Baumer (Richard Thomas) is a young German patriot, eager to fight. Indoctrinated with propaganda at school, he and his friends eagerly sign up for the army soon after graduation. But when the horrors of war soon become too much to bear, and as his friends die or become gravely wounded, Paul questions the sanity of fighting over a few hundreds yards of war-torn countryside. The film is based on the classic novel of the same name by Erich Maria Remarque.

Flying Down to Rio
In this 1933 musical romance, choreographer and musician Fred Ayers (Fred Astaire) labors to help his friend and band leader Roger Bond (Gene Raymond) romance gorgeous Brazilian Belinha De Rezende (Dolores del Río), who is the fiancée of Julio (Raul Roulien). Along the way, Ayers and singer Honey Hale (Ginger Rogers) stage marvelous dance numbers and conspire to make sure the shows go on, including a breathtaking dance number on the exterior of a formation of airplanes flying over the audience.
The Gay Divorcee
In this beloved musical, Mimi Glossop (Ginger Rogers) journeys to England to seek a divorce from her absentee husband. When Mimi meets dashing performer Guy Holden (Fred Astaire), sparks fly, and, most importantly, lavish song-and-dance numbers ensue. While romance and comedy factor into the film, the production is largely a showcase for the legendary talents of Rogers and Astaire, most notably displayed in an extended sequence during the third act.
Carefree
When lovely singer Amanda Cooper (Ginger Rogers) has trouble accepting the marriage proposals of her beau, Stephen Arden (Ralph Bellamy), he calls upon his psychiatrist friend Dr. Tony Flagg (Fred Astaire) to analyze her. Though Tony initially tries to maintain a typical doctor/patient relationship, it's not long before he's falling for Amanda. After a session of hypnosis, Amanda remains stuck in a happy-go-lucky state, leaving her disarmingly footloose and fancy-free.
