Domestic Disturbance
Frank Morrison (John Travolta) no longer lives with his ex-wife, Susan (Teri Polo), and 12-year-old son, Danny (Matt O'Leary). Susan and Danny now live with Rick Barnes (Vince Vaughn), Susan's new husband. Danny, who has a reputation for telling lies, has accused his stepfather of committing a murder. But Frank is the only one who believes him. Now the father Danny trusts must protect him from the stepfather he fears.

Jerry Blake (Terry O'Quinn) is a family man, but he happens to have a series of families, with each one on the receiving end of his murderous ways. Dangerous Crossing
A recently married heiress, Ruth Stanton (Jeanne Crain), embarks on a honeymoon cruise with her new husband, John Bowman (Carl Betz). However, shortly after getting on board, John disappears. None of the crew remember seeing him, and the ship's manifest has Ruth registered alone and under her maiden name. Ruth wanders the boat in search of John, but soon the captain and crew believe Ruth must be crazy. Only kindly Dr. Manning (Michael Rennie) takes her seriously and helps unravel the mystery.

Terry Doolittle (Whoopi Goldberg) works with computers in a bank office. She routinely talks with others via her computer, but one day she connects with a mysterious user by the name of Jumpin' Jack Flash (Jonathan Pryce). It takes her a while to decode his message, but Terry figures out that Jack is a British secret agent trapped behind enemy lines. Terry agrees to help him, but her activities attract the attention of the KGB, who want to know Jack's real identity -- and will kill to get it.

Drifter Sam Wilde (Lawrence Tierney) murders a Reno, Nev., boardinghouse owner and her boyfriend in a fit of jealousy. Tenant Helen Brent (Claire Trevor) discovers the bodies, but instead of reporting the crime, she leaves for San Francisco as planned to return to her wealthy fiancé. On the same train, Sam flirts with Helen, then tracks her to her half-sister's house, where he continues to pursue her. Although Helen suspects Sam is a murderer, she inexplicably protects him from an investigator.
Murder, My Sweet
Gumshoe Philip Marlowe (Dick Powell) is hired by the oafish Moose Malloy (Mike Mazurki) to track down his former girlfriend. He's also hired to accompany an effeminate playboy buy back some jewels. When the exchange results in the playboy's murder, Marlowe can't leave the case alone, and soon discovers it's related to Malloy's. As he gets drawn deeper into a complex web of intrigue by a mysterious blonde (Claire Trevor), the detective finds his own life in increasing jeopardy.
No Way Out
Robbers Ray Biddle (Richard Widmark) and his brother are shot and taken to the local hospital. There, the two are treated by Dr. Brooks (Sidney Poitier), the hospital's only black doctor. The brothers assault Brooks with racist slurs. And, when his brother ends up dying on the operating table, Ray accuses the doctor of murdering him. Blind with rage, Ray works to turn the white community of the city against Brooks, who finds an unlikely ally in the dead man's widow, Edie (Linda Darnell).
The Alligator People
Newly married nurse Joyce Webster (Beverly Garland) doesn't know what to think when her husband, Paul (Richard Crane), disappears during a train ride. She hires private investigators and eventually tracks him to an old bayou plantation, where the owner (Frieda Inescort) insists she's never heard of Paul. Joyce sticks around anyway and soon learns that local doctor Mark Sinclair (George Macready) has been using a life-altering alligator serum on the town's residents, and that Paul is among them.
The Day the Earth Stood Still
When a UFO lands in Washington, D.C., bearing a message for Earth's leaders, all of humanity stands still. Klaatu has come on behalf of alien life who have been watching Cold War-era nuclear proliferation on Earth. But it is Klaatu's soft-spoken robot Gort that presents a more immediate threat to onlookers. A single mother and her son teach the world about peace and tolerance in this moral fable, ousting the tanks and soldiers that greet the alien's arrival.

Anthropology professor George Challenger (Claude Rains), explorer Lord John Roxton (Michael Rennie) and an assorted team of thrill seekers and experts trek through a Venezuelan rainforest that they suspect may be home to living prehistoric creatures. Before long Challenger, Lord John and company discover a valley filled with vicious dinosaurs and oversize arachnids -- unfortunately, their chopper breaks down, leaving them stranded in one of the deadliest environments on Earth.
