Victorian-era Englishman Phileas Fogg proclaims before his fellow members of a London gentleman's club that he can circumnavigate the globe in a mere 80 days, further boasting that he will bet the princely sum of 20,000 pounds on the success of his endeavor. With his stalwart manservant Passepartout alongside, he goes forth on his adventure, pursued by a dogged Police Inspector who suspects Fogg of chicanery.

Return to Peyton Place

Allison (Carol Lynley) leaves her hometown of Peyton Place, N.H., for New York City after she's contacted by Lewis Jackman (Jeff Chandler), a powerful publisher who's interested in her tell-all book about her hometown. In the big city, Allison promotes her book, which becomes a runaway success, and she also begins a flirtatious relationship with Lewis, who is married. Back in Peyton Place, the secrets Allison has revealed could very easily tear the town apart.

Border Incident

In this topical film noir, a gang smuggles illegal Mexican farmworkers across the California border and kills the immigrants before they can return home. When federal agents Pablo Rodriguez (Ricardo Montalban) and Jack Bearnes (George Murphy) go undercover to overturn the organization, they find themselves face-to-face with its leader, Owen Parkson (Howard da Silva). The agents quickly realize that what began as a routine murder case has become a struggle for survival.

Nora Prentiss

A successful and hardworking doctor, Richard Talbot (Kent Smith) strays from his marriage when he meets Nora Prentiss (Ann Sheridan), a beautiful nightclub performer. While Richard doesn't want to end his affair with Nora, he also can't face divorcing his wife (Rosemary DeCamp) and struggles to resolve his inner conflict. Fallen Angel

However, on his way to prison, he escapes, determined to bring the real killer to justice. Aided by the beautiful Nora Carson (Dorothy Malone), Walter searches for Flaxy and gets to the bottom of the mystery.

A Blueprint for Murder

Whitney Cameron (Joseph Cotten) is in a quandary: he's attracted to his beautiful sister-in-law, Lynn (Jean Peters), but also harbors serious suspicions about her. Her husband, Cameron's brother, died under mysterious circumstances, and now that the death of her stepchild, Polly, has been attributed to poisoning, he suspects that Lynn is after his late brother's estate, and killing everyone in her way. Cameron fears that nephew could be next, and determines to make sure no harm comes to him.

The Snake Pit

Webb's sudden reappearance causes a public stir, and after Gloria and her agent fail to manipulate him, he takes his grievances to court. Meanwhile, Carol begins rethinking both her father's and her own low opinion of show business.

How Green Was My Valley

Huw Morgan (Roddy McDowall), the academically inclined youngest son in a proud family of Welsh coal miners, witnesses the tumultuous events of his young life during a period of rapid social change. At the dawn of the 20th century, a miners' strike divides the Morgans: the sons demand improvements, and the father (Donald Crisp) doesn't want to rock the boat. Meanwhile, Huw's eldest sister, Angharad (Maureen O'Hara), pines for the new village preacher, Mr. Gruffydd (Walter Pidgeon).

The Man From Laramie

Will Lockhart (James Stewart) comes to the ranch town of Coronado looking for the man who is selling rifles to the Apaches, because his brother was killed with one. There he runs into Alec Waggoman (Donald Crisp), an aging rancher with a violent son named Dave (Alex Nicol). A conflict between Dave and Vic (Arthur Kennedy), Waggoman's top aide, helps Lockhart uncover the source of the rifles -- and also gets him involved in the power struggles at the Waggoman ranch.

While juggling his career with a torrid love affair involving an ex-teammate's wife, Pete must also contend with Jean-Pierre Sarti (Yves Montand), a French contestant who has previously won two world titles.
