Two for the Road

Architect Mark Wallace (Albert Finney) and his wife, Joanna (Audrey Hepburn), travel to France to meet with an affluent client (Claude Dauphin). While there, they reflect on their first decade of marriage -- memories of when they first met, of courtship and of road trips through the French countryside. As flirtation and playful quarreling turn to boredom with the banality of married life, the Wallaces struggle to rekindle their passion, while mutual infidelity threatens to tear them apart.

Once they're underway, Sherman evacuates a group of beautiful nurses, but can't find anyone who will take them off his hands.

To Be or Not to Be

Frederick Bronski (Mel Brooks) and his adulterous wife, Anna (Anne Bancroft), are a pair of hammy actors running a low-rent theater in Warsaw, Poland. When the Nazis invade, the Bronskis find their theater becoming a makeshift refuge for local Jews and a gateway to the Polish underground. Using their limited acting skills, the members of the theater troupe attempt to deceive the Nazis and lead an escape. Meanwhile, a Polish pilot (Tim Matheson) thinks he has found a spy in England.

Brubaker

Posing as an inmate at a small Arkansas prison, the new warden of the penitentiary, Henry Brubaker (Robert Redford), witnesses firsthand the corruption and abuse inflicted upon the prisoners by the staff. After revealing his true identity, Brubaker brings much-needed reform to the prison with the help of supporters Dickie Coombes (Yaphet Kotto) and Lillian Gray (Jane Alexander). Yet when the benefactors of the old corrupt system are threatened by the changes, Brubaker's battles really begin.

Young Frankenstein

No Time for Sergeants

Sergeant King (Myron McCormick) thinks backwoods hillbilly-turned-new recruit Will Stockdale (Andy Griffith) might be the dumbest private ever to join the Air Force. When King puts him permanently in charge of the latrines, Stockdale thinks it's a promotion. Somehow, all King's attempts to make Stockdale look foolish backfire, and one of them even finds the sergeant demoted to private by his superiors. Stockdale, meanwhile, squeaks through training, and soon begins wreaking havoc in the skies.
