The Bigamist

San Francisco businessman Harry Graham (Edmond O'Brien) and his wife and business partner, Eve (Joan Fontaine), are in the process of adopting a child. When private investigator Jordan (Edmund Gwenn) uncovers the fact that Graham has another wife, Phyllis (Ida Lupino), and a small child in Los Angeles, he confesses everything. In flashback, Graham tells of the strains in his marriage with Eve and how he found himself falling for the kind-hearted waitress Phyllis while on a business trip.

Whistle Stop

After living for years in Chicago, Mary (Ava Gardner) travels back to the tiny hamlet where she grew up. There she reconnects with her old flame, the hapless Kenny (George Raft), and discovers that, in the years since they last met, he has developed a crippling gambling addiction. When debonair hotelier Lew (Tom Conway) takes an interest in Mary, she welcomes the successful man's advances -- only to find herself trapped between two jealous suitors who would kill for her.

When Bradford Galt (Mark Stevens), a tough private investigator, realizes that he's being followed, he confronts his assailant, a shifty fellow named Fred Foss (William Bendix). Galt's encounter with Foss leads to a web of intrigue involving prosperous art collector Hardy Cathcart (Clifton Webb) and his young wife, Mari (Cathy Downs). Soon Galt is in over his head -- but luckily for him, his tenacious secretary, Kathleen Stewart (Lucille Ball), is on hand to help him out.

High Sierra

Aging mobster Big Mac (Donald MacBride) is looking to pull off one more heist before he retires. With his sights set on robbing a California casino, Big Mac breaks one of his former associates, Roy Earle (Humphrey Bogart), out of prison to mastermind the job. When the robbery goes awry, Earle is forced to go on the lam and settles for the night in the hills of the nearby Sierra Nevada. But, with the cops on his tail, Earle is soon forced to fend off the law from the mountains.

Trapped

When the Feds spot high-grade counterfeit cash, they seek the help of convict Tris Stewart in tracking down the manufacturers. Stewart's hands-on experience in counterfeiting makes him a vital asset, but turning him into an informant won't be easy. This dramatic retelling of the Pearl Harbor attack details everything in the days that led up to that tragic moment in American history. As the United States and Japanese relations strain over the U.S. embargo of raw materials, Air Staff Officer Minoru Genda plans the preemptive strike against the United States. Although American intelligence agencies intercept Japanese communications hinting at the attack, they are unwilling to believe such a strike could ever occur on U.S. soil.

The Longest Day

In 1944, the U.S. Army and Allied forces plan a huge invasion landing in Normandy, France. Despite bad weather, General Eisenhower gives the okay and the Allies land at Normandy. General Norman Cota travels with his men onto Omaha Beach. With much effort, and lost life, they get off the beach, traveling deep into French territory. The German military, due to arrogance, ignorance and a sleeping Adolf Hitler, delay their response to the Allied landing, with crippling results.

None but the Brave

Crash-landed Marines (Frank Sinatra, Clint Walker, Tommy Sands) form an uneasy truce with forgotten Japanese soldiers on a South Pacific island.

Von Ryan's Express

World War II story about Allied prisoners who stage a mass breakout from an Italian POW camp, commandeer a train and head towards the Swiss border. As the Italian war effort collapses, the escapees are aided by their captors, but when the Germans catch on, they set out to halt the escape with an armored train and aerial attack.

Destination Gobi

Pilot Sam McHale (Richard Widmark) is disappointed to learn he is being transferred to the Gobi Desert to oversee the Navy's weather station. When McHale settles in, he meets with Mongolian tribesmen, who are weary of the Navy's presence. Once trust is established between the two groups, McHale notices the natives' talent with horses, and he becomes interested in turning the Mongolian natives into a cavalry that can help protect them against the Japanese.
