Wee Willie Winkie
With her widowed mother (June Lang), precocious Priscilla (Shirley Temple) travels to India to live with her grandfather, Col. Williams (C. Aubrey Smith). A stern officer in the British army, the colonel makes it clear that a military garrison isn't any place for a child. Priscilla proves otherwise, befriending tenderhearted Sgt. MacDuff (Victor McLaglen), getting caught up in the plot of a rebel leader (Cesar Romero) and charming everyone in sight.
Rebecca of Sunnybrook Farm
After Rebecca (Shirley Temple) is mistakenly rejected at an audition for a radio advertising campaign, her stepfather takes her upstate to stay at Sunnybrook Farm with her Aunt Miranda (Helen Westley), who bans her from show business. Delusional patient Gunther Wyckoff (Marshall Thompson) escapes from a mental institution intent on locating and killing Dr. John Faron (Sam Levene), whose testimony sent him to the asylum. After overpowering a bus driver and stealing his gun, Wyckoff heads to Terminal City, where he holds the patrons of a bar hostage, including a reporter (James Bell), a barfly (Virginia Field) and a used-car salesman (Leon Ames). After murdering the bartender, Wyckoff demands the police bring him Faron.

Phone Call From a Stranger
After discovering that his wife has been unfaithful, attorney David Trask (Gary Merrill) decides to fly to Los Angeles. He becomes friendly with three other passengers, each with his own story: salesman Eddie Hoke (Keenan Wynn), actress Binky Gay (Shelley Winters) and Dr. Bob Fortness (Michael Rennie). When the plane crashes and the other three are among the dead, Trask decides to visit the families of each. He helps them cope and also finds out some surprises about his new friends.

Although Matt is reluctant to be tied down, he falls in love with Kitty and all goes well -- until the couple, neither of whom have known what Mae does, suddenly finds out about her profession.
