Where Angels Go, Trouble Follows

In this uproarious comedy, tradition faces off against modernity when a young, hip nun, Sister George (Stella Stevens), challenges the ideas of her conservative Mother Superior (Rosalind Russell). Though the two nuns think they will never see eye to eye, a bus trip across the country -- during which they encounter many wacky characters, including a movie producer (Milton Berle) and a millionaire (Robert Taylor) -- helps them find some common ground.

Cry Terror

Jim Molnar (James Mason) watches as the news unfolds about two airplane bomb threats. He realizes he's been tricked into creating those bombs by ex-Army buddy Paul Hoplin (Rod Steiger), who is determined to extort half a million dollars from the airlines. After kidnapping Jim, his wife, Joan (Inger Stevens), and their daughter, Paul forces Joan to go collect the money. While she's escorted by a thug (Neville Brand) across New York, Jim and his daughter are held hostage, fighting for their lives.

While drowning his sorrows at the local bar, blind writer Phillip Hannon (Van Johnson) eavesdrops on a nearby conversation. With the help of his ex-fiancée, Jean Lennox (Vera Miles), and his loyal secretary, Bob Matthews (Cecil Parker), Hannon uses his four remaining senses to track down the criminals.

Hans Baerlach (Martin Ritt) is a Swiss police detective who has dedicated much of his career to pursuing powerful and allegedly murderous businessman Richard Gastmann (Robert Shaw). Though Baerlach's partner (Donald Sutherland) meets his demise while investigating Gastmann, his replacement, Walter Tschanz (Jon Voight), is undaunted. Meanwhile, the lovely Anna Crawley (Jacqueline Bisset) becomes involved in the case, which proceeds to take many twists and turns.

The Black Swan

With the pardon of notorious pirate Henry Morgan by the English King, Caribbean pirates are offered amnesty if they give up their lawless ways. As governor of Jamaica, Morgan picks Captain Jamie Waring to round up the renegade captain Billy Leech. Beautiful Margaret Denby complicates matters for Waring, as her scorn for him is matched only by his love for her.

Rose Loomis (Marilyn Monroe) and her older, gloomier husband, George (Joseph Cotten), are vacationing at a cabin in Niagara Falls, N.Y. The couple befriend Polly (Jean Peters) and Ray Cutler (Casey Adams), who are honeymooning in the area. Polly begins to suspect that something is amiss between Rose and George, and her suspicions grow when she sees Rose in the arms of another man. While Ray initially thinks Polly is overreacting, things between George and Rose soon take a shockingly dark turn.

Cornered

During World War II, Laurence Gerard (Dick Powell) of the Royal Canadian Air Force was taken captive by the enemy, but now that the fighting is over he has begun a quest for vengeance. Laurence's wife was murdered while he was a hostage, and his desire to right this wrong takes him from Europe to South America. The supposed killer is a Nazi sympathizer named Jarnac (Luther Adler), but word has it that he is dead. Laurence, however, believes his target is alive and hiding out in Argentina.

Murder, My Sweet

Gumshoe Philip Marlowe (Dick Powell) is hired by the oafish Moose Malloy (Mike Mazurki) to track down his former girlfriend. He's also hired to accompany an effeminate playboy buy back some jewels. When the exchange results in the playboy's murder, Marlowe can't leave the case alone, and soon discovers it's related to Malloy's. As he gets drawn deeper into a complex web of intrigue by a mysterious blonde (Claire Trevor), the detective finds his own life in increasing jeopardy.

The House on Telegraph Hill

Upon emerging from a Nazi death camp, Victoria Kowelska (Valentina Cortesa) takes the identity of a friend who died there. She travels to the United States where she meets her friend's son, Chris (Gordon Gebert), and discovers that she has come into a large inheritance. Eventually, she gets involved with the boy's guardian, Alan (Richard Basehart), and marries him. However, after some suspicious accidents, she starts to believe that Alan may be trying to kill her so he can claim the money.

No Way Out

Robbers Ray Biddle (Richard Widmark) and his brother are shot and taken to the local hospital. There, the two are treated by Dr. Brooks (Sidney Poitier), the hospital's only black doctor. The brothers assault Brooks with racist slurs. And, when his brother ends up dying on the operating table, Ray accuses the doctor of murdering him. Blind with rage, Ray works to turn the white community of the city against Brooks, who finds an unlikely ally in the dead man's widow, Edie (Linda Darnell).

Dangerous Crossing

A recently married heiress, Ruth Stanton (Jeanne Crain), embarks on a honeymoon cruise with her new husband, John Bowman (Carl Betz). However, shortly after getting on board, John disappears. None of the crew remember seeing him, and the ship's manifest has Ruth registered alone and under her maiden name. Ruth wanders the boat in search of John, but soon the captain and crew believe Ruth must be crazy. Only kindly Dr. Manning (Michael Rennie) takes her seriously and helps unravel the mystery.

While on a business trip, an ambitious, young lawyer immediately falls in love with a stranger. They wed the following day, and tragedy soon strikes.

A man and a woman have a romance while on a cruise from Europe to New York. Despite being engaged to other people, both agree to reunite at the top of the Empire State Building in six months. However, an unfortunate accident keeps her from the reunion, and he fears that she has married or does not love him anymore.
