Cathy Timberlake (Doris Day) is en route to a job interview when a car transporting businessman Philip Shayne (Cary Grant) covers her in mud. He sends his assistant, Roger (Gig Young), to apologize, but upon meeting Cathy, Roger knows that she would be a suitable match for his boss. Despite their mutual attraction, Cathy and Philip want different things. Philip wants a fling, while Cathy wants a marriage. As they travel to exotic locales, their differing motivations are put to the test.

Chauffeur's daughter Sabrina (Audrey Hepburn) returns home from two years in Paris a beautiful young woman, and immediately catches the attention of David (William Holden), the playboy son of her father's rich employers. David woos and wins Sabrina, who has always been in love with him, however their romance is threatened by David's serious older brother, Linus (Humphrey Bogart), who runs the family business and is relying on David to marry an heiress in order for a crucial merger to take place.

Marked Woman

Fiery nightclub dame Mary Dwight Strauber (Bette Davis) witnesses a murder at the Club Intime, but is terrified to testify against her slimy boss, notorious mobster Johnny Vanning (Eduardo Ciannelli). When Mary's innocent sister, Betty (Jane Bryan), gets mixed up in Vanning's racket and winds up dead, Mary finally yields to pressure from the District Attorney (Humphrey Bogart) and agrees to testify against Vanning in court, regardless of the death threats she receives from his henchmen.

The Letter

In Singapore, Leslie Crosbie (Bette Davis) shoots and kills a man, claiming that he tried to take advantage of her. She is arrested and her husband, Robert (Herbert Marshall), hires attorney Howard Joyce (James Stephenson) to defend her. During the trial Howard uncovers an incriminating letter that casts doubt on Leslie's story. The two become embroiled in a blackmail scheme involving a Malayan clerk (Victor Sen Yung) and the dead man's widow (Gale Sondergaard).

Phone Call From a Stranger

After discovering that his wife has been unfaithful, attorney David Trask (Gary Merrill) decides to fly to Los Angeles. He becomes friendly with three other passengers, each with his own story: salesman Eddie Hoke (Keenan Wynn), actress Binky Gay (Shelley Winters) and Dr. Bob Fortness (Michael Rennie). When the plane crashes and the other three are among the dead, Trask decides to visit the families of each. He helps them cope and also finds out some surprises about his new friends.

Mystery Street

When bargirl Vivian (Jan Sterling) discovers that her married boyfriend has refused to leave his wife, she steals a car and drives to Cape Cod to confront him. Several months later her skeleton washes ashore, and local police officer Peter Morales (Ricardo Montalban) must work with Harvard forensics expert Dr. McAdoo (Bruce Bennett) in order to piece together the twisted tale and discover who the murderer is before an innocent suspect pays the ultimate price.

Suspense

After the mysterious Joe Morgan (Barry Sullivan) starts working for ice skating magnate Frank Leonard, Joe suggests improvements to the skating show that stars Leonard's wife, Roberta (Belita). Due to these ideas, Leonard promotes Morgan to a managerial position. However, Morgan soon starts trying to seduce Roberta as well. Once Leonard disappears in an avalanche, Roberta is left wondering whether he is alive or dead. She must also decide how much she can trust Morgan.

Scene of the Crime

When assigned to investigate the murder of a fellow plainclothes policeman, Los Angeles cop Mike Donovan follows his hunches straight to a burlesque dancer named Lili. With a tip from Lili, Donovan trails and arrests a mysterious man spotted at the scene of the crime. After the suspect is gunned down, Donovan's wife convinces her husband to quit the force -- but can the detective stay away from the case after another fellow officer is murdered?

Assault on Precinct 13

When the LAPD kills several members of the South Central gang Street Thunder, the remaining members avenge themselves by way of a bloody war waged against cops and citizens alike. Caught in the crossfire is Lt. Ethan Bishop (Austin Stoker), who's managing a skeleton crew at the local and soon-to-be-closed police precinct. As the gang members close in, Bishop forms an unlikely alliance with a group of prisoners in order to defend the station and the lives of everyone in it.
