Lucas
Lucas (Corey Haim) is an unusually bright teenager whose nerdy looks and meek demeanor make him a favorite target for bullies. His life at school seems to improve when he befriends Maggie (Kerri Green), a cute new girl whose love interest, Cappie (Charlie Sheen), protects him from harassment. However, despite his friend Rina's (Winona Ryder) clear affection for him, Lucas falls for Maggie, and in a final effort to impress her, joins the high school football team.
Perry Mason: The Case of the Notorious Nun
Father Thomas O'Neil (Timothy Bottoms) is murdered, and a nun, Sister Margaret (Michele Greene), with whom he was rumored to be having an affair, is arrested as the suspect in the scandalous crime. Perry Mason (Raymond Burr), now a judge, is asked by his pal, Archbishop Stefan Corro, to look into it. With not only Mason but his secretary, Della Street (Barbara Hale), and his recent investigative partner, Paul Drake Jr. (William Katt), on the case, Margaret's name may be cleared.
The Exorcist III
Police Lt. Kinderman (George C. Scott) notices similarities between his current murder investigation and the methods used by the Gemini killer (Brad Dourif) who was executed 15 years before. He soon discovers a hospitalized mental patient (Jason Miller) claiming to be the dead serial killer, but who looks uncannily like a priest Kinderman knew who died during an exorcism. As more bodies are found, Kinderman looks for connections between the two supposedly dead men.

Escape From Fort Bravo
Captain Roper is the warden of a Union-run prison camp. In an effort to recapture the escaped prisoners, Roper has a run-in with a group of Mescalero Indians. In order to survive, he has to team up with his own prisoners to fight the Indians and wipe them out.

Brassy blonde moll Billie Dawn (Judy Holliday) hits Washington, D.C., with her unscrupulous millionaire sugar daddy, Harry Brock (Broderick Crawford), and his sleazy lawyer, Jim Devery (Howard St. John), who has been pressuring Harry to marry Billie by pointing out that a wife cannot be forced to testify against her husband. In an effort to make Billie more socially acceptable, Harry hires journalist Paul Verrall (William Holden) to smarten her up -- and sparks soon fly between the pair.

In Hong Kong in 1949, Mark Elliott is an American reporter covering the Chinese civil war. Undergoing a trial separation from his wife, he meets the beautiful Dr. Han Suyin, a widowed physician from mainland China. Although the film was a commercial success upon release, the casting of Jones in an Asian role has since been criticized.
Ball of Fire
Hoping to update his chapter on modern slang, encyclopedia writer Professor Bertram Potts (Gary Cooper) ventures into a chic nightclub. Inside, he meets the snarky burlesque performer "Sugarpuss" O'Shea (Barbara Stanwyck). Fascinated by her command of popular jargon, Potts invites her to stay with him. But, unknown to Potts, she is the fiancée of a mobster (Dana Andrews) and wanted by the police. In the ensuing mayhem, Potts must stay on his toes or be swallowed up by bigger fish.
Carousel

When the attractive young couple gets married, they also both find themselves unemployed, which puts a strain on their relationship. When Billy finds out that Julie is pregnant, he resorts to extreme measures to get money, a decision that leads to tragedy.
Raw Deal
When efforts to prosecute mob boss Luigi Patrovita are repeatedly derailed thanks to a mole in the FBI, the only choice is to bring in an outsider -- specifically, Mark Kaminsky, a disgraced agent who leaps at a chance for reinstatement. After FBI chief Shannon gives him his orders, Kaminsky fakes his death and reemerges as an ex-con named Brenner. Undercover and accountable to no one, the former Fed tears up the mob from the inside.
