The most daring drivers in the world have gathered to compete for the 1966 Formula One championship. After a spectacular wreck in the first of a series of races, American wheelman Pete Aron (James Garner) is dropped by his sponsor. Refusing to quit, he joins a Japanese racing team. While juggling his career with a torrid love affair involving an ex-teammate's wife, Pete must also contend with Jean-Pierre Sarti (Yves Montand), a French contestant who has previously won two world titles.

Perry Mason: The Case of the Killer Kiss

A soap opera star, Kris Buckner (Genie Francis), is accused of murdering another actor, Mark Stratton (Sean Kanan), who also worked on the hit show and tried to get Buckner fired. The evidence against Buckner is compelling, since she threatened to kill the disagreeable Stratton when he almost got her axed. But Perry Mason (Raymond Burr) and his experienced investigative team believe she is innocent and do everything they can to prove it with the help of a die-hard soap fan.

Escape From New York

In 1997, a major war between the United States and the Soviet Union is concluding, and the entire island of Manhattan has been converted into a giant maximum security prison. When Air Force One is hijacked and crashes into the island, the president is taken hostage by a group of inmates. Snake Plissken, a former Special Forces soldier turned criminal, is recruited to retrieve the president in exchange for his own freedom.

A Boy and His Dog

Vic is a libidinous 18-year-old traversing the post-apocalyptic desert of 2024, in the company of his telepathic dog, Blood. When the pair encounter an underground community, the leader's daughter, Quilla Holmes, seduces Vic into their fold, separating him from Blood, who's left to survive on his own. But once Vic discovers he's been lured there solely for mechanized procreation, he realizes he's doomed unless he can escape and rejoin Blood.

The Enemy Below

During the Battle of the Atlantic in World War II, two equally able captains on opposing sides square off in a life-and-death game of tactical maneuvering. American Capt. Murrell (Robert Mitchum) helms the destroyer USS Haynes, while his Nazi counterpart, Von Stolberg (Curt Jurgens), commands a German U-boat. As both men follow their orders, they push their crews to greater lengths to achieve victory. Over the course of the intense battle, a respect develops among enemies.

Call of the Wild

This early adaptation of the classic Jack London novel follows Jack Thornton (Clark Gable) as he travels across Alaska during the Klondike Gold Rush. When he finds another Yukon-bound man, who treats his sled dogs cruelly, Jack purchases a dog named Buck, who leads the way toward the gold. But Jack reconsiders his journey when he finds Claire Blake (Loretta Young), a woman recently abandoned by her husband in the Alaskan wilderness, and the couple develops a romance.

The Odd Couple

When fussy Felix (Jack Lemmon) becomes suicidal over his impending divorce, he accepts an offer to move in with his best friend, messy Oscar (Walter Matthau). Felix drives Oscar crazy with his obsession over his soon-to-be ex. Oscar tries to get him out of his funk by arranging a double date with two wacky British neighbors, Cecily (Monica Evans) and Gwendolyn (Carole Shelley). When the plan backfires and Felix grows even more despondent, his friendship with Oscar is put to the test.

Nick Gardenia (Chevy Chase) is a writer who has moved to a cabin in the California mountains to work on a novel. He is kidnapped by a pair of criminals and forced into robbing a bank. On the run from the law, Nick seeks assistance from his ex-wife, Glenda (Goldie Hawn), a big-hearted lawyer. Knowing he would never commit a crime, she lets him stay at her house despite the fact that her husband, Ira (Charles Grodin), a district attorney, is throwing a party for law enforcement officials.

Handsome vagabond Ben Quick (Paul Newman) returns to the Mississippi town his late father called home, but rumors of his dad's pyromaniac tendencies follow him as soon as he sets foot there. The proud young man's determination eventually wins over civic leader Will Varner (Orson Welles), who decides Ben might be just the man for his daughter, Clara (Joanne Woodward) -- much to the displeasure of Will's gutless son (Anthony Franciosa) and Clara's society boyfriend (Richard Anderson).

Brassy blonde moll Billie Dawn (Judy Holliday) hits Washington, D.C., with her unscrupulous millionaire sugar daddy, Harry Brock (Broderick Crawford), and his sleazy lawyer, Jim Devery (Howard St. John), who has been pressuring Harry to marry Billie by pointing out that a wife cannot be forced to testify against her husband. In an effort to make Billie more socially acceptable, Harry hires journalist Paul Verrall (William Holden) to smarten her up -- and sparks soon fly between the pair.

Deborah Bishop, Lora Mae Hollingsway and Rita Phipps are three friends who all receive letters from another friend, Addie Ross, telling them that she is about to leave town with one of their husbands. Halls of Montezuma

Lieutenant Carl Anderson (Richard Widmark) is a former teacher who leads a band of Marines to an island under Japanese control during World War II, intending to capture enemy soldiers and gain information. When a Japanese soldier reveals a cave where his forces are willing to surrender, the Marines arrive there, only to be ambushed and suffer grave casualties. Now Anderson, having lost much of his original team, must summon up enough courage to attack an important rocket base.

The Proud Ones

There's trouble brewing for Marshal Cass Silver (Robert Ryan), a Kansas lawman struggling to maintain peace in his small cattle town. As the community awaits a sweep of trail herds coming from Texas, Honest John Barrett (Robert Middleton), the shady owner of the town saloon, plots to have Silver killed. Things get even worse when Thad Anderson (Jeffrey Hunter), the son of a hired gun killed by Silver years earlier in self-defense, arrives in town.
