The Bible
John Huston directs this survey course of the Old Testament, which, the title notwithstanding, covers only the first 22 chapters of Genesis. Adam (Michael Parks) and Eve (Ulla Bergryd) frolic in the Garden of Eden until their indulgence in the forbidden fruit sees them driven out. Cain (Richard Harris) murders his brother Abel (Franco Nero), Noah (John Huston) builds an ark to preserve the animals of the world from the coming flood and Abraham (George C. Scott) makes a covenant with God.
Rebecca of Sunnybrook Farm
After Rebecca (Shirley Temple) is mistakenly rejected at an audition for a radio advertising campaign, her stepfather takes her upstate to stay at Sunnybrook Farm with her Aunt Miranda (Helen Westley), who bans her from show business. Meanwhile, advertising exec Tony Kent (Randolph Scott) desperately searches for Rebecca, who he has only heard, unaware that she's on the farm next to his. Tony's search is interrupted by many things -- including Rebecca's attractive cousin, Gwen (Gloria Stuart).
The Second Time Around
Lucretia Lu Rogers (Debbie Reynolds) is a brave woman who refuses to let tough times get her down. Once Upon a Time in the West
There's a single piece of land around Flagstone with water on it, and rail baron Morton (Gabriele Ferzetti) aims to have it, knowing the new railroad will have to stop there. He sends his henchman Frank (Henry Fonda) to scare the land's owner, McBain (Frank Wolff), but Frank kills him instead and pins it on a known bandit, Cheyenne (Jason Robards). Meanwhile, a mysterious gunslinger with a score to settle (Charles Bronson) and McBain's new wife, Jill (Claudia Cardinale), arrive in town.
The Sand Pebbles
In 1926, the USS San Pablo patrols the Yangtze River during the clashes between Chiang Kai-shek's communists and Chinese warlords. Eight-year veteran machinist Jake Holman (Steve McQueen), new to the self-named sand pebbles crew, immediately draws deep suspicion due to his independent streak. Ordered to protect Americans, including schoolteacher Shirley Eckhart (Candice Bergen), Jake and the gunboat crew are unwittingly drawn into a bitter nationalistic feud that holds grim consequences.
A Midnight Clear
In the winter of 1944, American soldiers led by Will Knott (Ethan Hawke) are assigned to capture a small squad of German soldiers posted in France's Ardennes forest. Tired of war, the Americans have already lost half their division and discover that their German enemy is equally unwilling to fight. With Jewish soldier Stan Shutzer (Arye Gross) interpreting, the Germans and Americans agree on a plan that will let the former surrender without violence -- but then, tragedy strikes.
The Robe

Marcellus has never been a man of faith like his slave, Demetrius (Victor Mature), but when Demetrius escapes with the robe, Marcellus experiences disturbing visions and feels guilty of his actions. Convinced that destroying the robe will cure him, Marcellus sets out to find Demetrius -- and discovers his Christian faith along the way.
Wee Willie Winkie
With her widowed mother (June Lang), precocious Priscilla (Shirley Temple) travels to India to live with her grandfather, Col. Williams (C. Aubrey Smith). A stern officer in the British army, the colonel makes it clear that a military garrison isn't any place for a child. Priscilla proves otherwise, befriending tenderhearted Sgt. MacDuff (Victor McLaglen), getting caught up in the plot of a rebel leader (Cesar Romero) and charming everyone in sight.
It Happened in Flatbush
Baseball manager Frank Maguire (Lloyd Nolan) returns to Brooklyn, N.Y., to manage the team he left seven years earlier, after his crucial mistake at shortstop cost them the championship. In the face of misgivings by new owner Kathryn Baker (Carole Landis) and her crusty right-hand man, Sam Sloan (William Frawley), as well as the public jeering of newspaper writer Danny Mitchell (Robert Armstrong), Maguire and his new pitching phenom, Roy Collins (George Holmes), try to turn the team around.
