How the West Was Won
Setting off on a journey to the west in the 1830s, the Prescott family run into a man named Linus (James Stewart), who helps them fight off a pack of thieves. Linus then marries daughter Eve Prescott (Carroll Baker), and 30 years later goes off to fight in the Civil War with their son, with bloody results. Eve's sister, Lily (Debbie Reynolds), heads further west and has adventures with a professional gambler (Gregory Peck), stretching all the way to San Francisco and into the 1880s.

Man of God Josiah Gray (Joel McCrea) is determined to bring religion to the people of Walesburg, a dusty southern town still healing from the Civil War. Though initially Josiah must hold his parishioners at gunpoint, in time he wins over the community and marries his organist, Harriet (Ellen Drew). As the years pass, a number of situations arise, including a typhoid outbreak and a hostile mob, in which Josiah must prove that God is the only force that can restore peace in Walesburg.

When half-breed Indian Yaqui Joe (Burt Reynolds) robs an Arizona bank, he is pursued by dogged lawman Lyedecker (Jim Brown). Fleeing to Mexico, Joe is imprisoned by General Verdugo (Fernando Lamas), who is waging a war against the Yaqui Indians. When Lyedecker attempts to intervene, he is thrown into prison as well. Working together, the two escape and take refuge in the hills, where Lyedecker meets beautiful Yaqui freedom fighter Sarita (Raquel Welch) and begins to question his allegiances.
A Face in the Crowd
Ambitious young radio producer Marcia Jeffries (Patricia Neal) finds a charming rogue named Larry "Lonesome" Rhodes (Andy Griffith) in an Arkansas drunk tank and puts him on the air. Soon, Rhodes' local popularity gets him an appearance on television in Memphis, which he parlays into national network stardom that he uses to endorse a presidential candidate for personal gain. But the increasingly petulant star's ego, arrogance and womanizing threaten his rise to the top.

Approached later by athletics commission head Maj. Jason Scully and reporter Paul Clarke, Nick still declines to investigate. When another reporter is murdered and Paul is arrested, Nick gives way to Nora's plea and, with their fox terrier Asta, sets out to solve the murders.
The Thin Man Goes Home
Famous retired detective Nick Charles (William Powell) takes his wife, Nora (Myrna Loy), and their dog, Asta, to visit Nick's parents in their small, quiet town. Determined that Nick's father respect Nick's profession, Nora urges him to find a crime to investigate, unaware that Nick's presence has already frightened spy Edgar Draque (Leon Ames) into action. After Nora buys a painting for Nick's birthday and the artist is murdered, Nick discovers that the murder is connected to espionage.

Later, amateur sleuths Nick (William Powell) and Norah (Myrna Loy) receive a visit from Phil Brant, Drake's former boss and the main suspect in his murder. After they give Brant up to the authorities, they start digging around for clues. The pair question Brant's wife and one of Drake's musician colleagues until they start to piece together the intricate puzzle.
The Three Musketeers
In this musical comedy version of Alexandre Dumas' timeless novel, D'Artagnan (Don Ameche), a French peasant with dreams of joining the Musketeers, sets out for Paris. On the road, he comes across the three warriors. Athos (Douglas Dumbrille) challenges D'Artagnan to a duel, but eventually all four become fast friends. The Musketeers make an ally of the Queen of France (Gloria Stuart) and find themselves constantly dueling with the wicked Milady De Winter (Binnie Barnes).
The Last Wagon
Comanche Todd (Richard Widmark), a white man living with an Indian tribe, is captured by Sheriff Bull Harper (George Mathews) following the murder of the sheriff's three brothers. Heading back to town, the wagon train in which the vicious sheriff and his abused prisoner are traveling is attacked by a vengeful Apache tribe whose women and children have been killed by a band of white men. After the slaughter, Todd must bring the survivors, including the beautiful Jenny (Felicia Farr), to safety.
Flamingo Road
Dancer Lane Bellamy (Joan Crawford) tours with a carnival, but is deserted in Bolton City when they flee to avoid their debts. Deputy Fielding Carlisle (Zachary Scott) arrives and, secretly smitten with her, helps Lane find employment as a waitress. However, scheming Sheriff Titus Semple's (Sydney Greenstreet) ambitious plans for Fielding to become a rep in the state legislature do not include his dating an itinerant woman, so he runs her out of town. Lane seeks revenge, but at what cost?

In Alfred Hitchcock's adaptation of Patricia Highsmith's thriller, tennis star Guy Haines is enraged by his trampy wife's refusal to finalize their divorce so he can wed senator's daughter Anne. He strikes up a conversation with a stranger, Bruno Anthony, and unwittingly sets in motion a deadly chain of events. Psychopathic Bruno kills Guy's wife, then urges Guy to reciprocate by killing Bruno's father. Meanwhile, Guy is murder suspect number one.
