In this sequel to The Robe, the corrupt emperor Caligula (Jay Robinson) believes that the sacred robe of Christ has magical powers, and will stop at nothing to obtain it. When Demetrius (Victor Mature) refuses to help Caligula find the holy object, Caligula has him arrested and forces him to fight in the arena in battles to the death. As Demetrius faces trial after trial, his faith in Christ is pushed to its limits, as he sees no point in the endless suffering he is forced to endure.

I Deal in Danger

Rogue spy David March (Robert Goulet) defects to the Germans in the early days of World War II, but, unbeknownst to his Nazi handlers, he is in fact a double agent feeding information to the United States, which has not yet officially entered the war. While suspicious SS officer Elm (Werner Peters) tests the new recruit's loyalties to the Axis, March infiltrates a secret weapons laboratory with the help of his fellow secret agent, beautiful Frenchwoman Suzanne Duchard (Christine Carère).

The child's performance and her spirit impress a young, wealthy trustee, Edward Morgan (John Boles), who poses as a lawyer with an offer of adoption for Elizabeth, but she won't leave without her sister. Edward decides to bring them both to his mansion, and soon begins to fall in love with Mary.

With her widowed mother (June Lang), precocious Priscilla (Shirley Temple) travels to India to live with her grandfather, Col. Williams (C. Aubrey Smith). A stern officer in the British army, the colonel makes it clear that a military garrison isn't any place for a child. Priscilla proves otherwise, befriending tenderhearted Sgt. MacDuff (Victor McLaglen), getting caught up in the plot of a rebel leader (Cesar Romero) and charming everyone in sight.

When the first-ever murder of a human by a robot occurs, many rally to Cragis' cause until it's discovered that his sister (Frances McCann) has become intimate with a robot.

Tattered and forlorn, Eve shows up in the dressing room of Broadway mega-star Margo Channing, telling a melancholy life story to Margo and her friends. Margo takes Eve under her wing, and it appears that Eve is a conniver that uses Margo.
