The Poker Club

The Return of Eliot Ness
In 1947 Chicago, detective Eliot Ness comes out of retirement after the murder of Martin Labine, a former cop suspected of Mafia connections. As an old colleague, Ness takes the case extremely personally, and makes it his sole mission to track down whoever's responsible for the crime. Along the way, Ness partners with Labine's son, Gil, as they delve into the Mafia. Meanwhile, the two have to avoid ending up casualties in the ongoing gang war.

Raymond (Vincent Gallo) is finally on parole after taking the fall on a drug charge for crime lord Tony (Rod Steiger). Dr. Lila Coletti (Gina Gershon) is a psychiatrist to mentally disturbed prison inmates. She's also a recent divorcée, devastated after losing custody of her children. So when her ex-husband and his girlfriend are murdered, Coletti emerges as the prime suspect of the investigating officer, Det. Macy Kobacek (Michael Biehn). Coletti soon learns the killer is obsessed ex-con Ed Baikman (Sean Patrick Flanery), a former patient who threatens to incriminate Coletti unless she gives in to his demands.
