Truth or Consequences, N.M.
Raymond (Vincent Gallo) is finally on parole after taking the fall on a drug charge for crime lord Tony (Rod Steiger). Raymond expects a big cash reward from Tony, but the mobster does little to show his gratitude. Vowing revenge, he and his buddies Curtis (Kiefer Sutherland) and Marcus (Mykelti Williamson) decide to steal Tony's narcotics supply. When the job goes bad, the crooks flee to the desert, where they abduct some yuppies, with both the police and Tony's thugs close behind.
The Legend of the Lone Ranger
Bad guy Butch Cavendish (Christopher Lloyd) leads an ambush on the Texas Rangers, gunning down all but the young John Reid (Klinton Spilsbury), a lawyer who had joined his Ranger brother, Dan (John Bennett Perry), in the pursuit of Cavendish. Reid, who was injured in the attack, slowly recovers with the help of his childhood friend, the Native American Tonto (Michael Horse). Afterward, Reid dons a mask, calls himself the Lone Ranger and begins fighting evil with Tonto.
Comanche Station
When solitary cowboy Jefferson Cody (Randolph Scott) hears tales of a white woman living as a captive of the Comanche tribe, he rides deep into the tribe's territory to exchange goods for her freedom. As Cody escorts the captive woman away, he learns that she is Nancy Lowe (Nancy Gates), and that there is a sizable reward offered by her husband for her return. Cody and Mrs. Lowe must brave ruthless bounty hunters greedy for the reward, as well as the now-warring Comanches, to make it to safety.
The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada
When brash Texas border officer Mike Norton wrongfully kills and buries the friend and ranch hand of Pete Perkins, the latter is reminded of a promise he made to bury his friend, Melquiades Estrada, in his Mexican hometown. He kidnaps Norton and exhumes Estrada's corpse and the odd caravan sets out on horseback for Mexico. As Estrada's body begins to rot, Norton begins to unravel, but Perkins remains determined to honor his vow.

After several years away, FBI agent Henry Durand (Colin Hanks) returns to find his mother, Marty (Meg Ryan), a much different person: Having long mourned for Henry's father, she is now embracing single life. One day, while Marty, Henry and his new fiancée, Emily (Selma Blair), are out for a walk, they meet Tommy (Antonio Banderas), a mysterious stranger, with whom Marty then becomes involved. However, through his FBI contacts, Henry learns that Tommy is suspected of being an art thief.

Charlie Lang (Nicolas Cage) is a simple, kindhearted New York City cop. When he realizes he has no money to tip waitress Yvonne Biasi (Bridget Fonda), Lang offers her half the winnings of his lottery ticket. Amazingly, the ticket happens to be a winner, in the sum of $4 million. True to his word, Lang proceeds to share the prize money with Biasi, which infuriates his greedy wife, Muriel (Rosie Perez). Not content with the arrangement, Muriel begins scheming to take all the money.

The Exorcism of Emily Rose
The Rev. Moore is prosecuted for the wrongful death of a girl thought to be demonically possessed, because he administered the church-sanctioned exorcism that ultimately killed her. Prosecuting attorney Ethan Thomas contends that the young woman, Emily, suffered from schizophrenia and should have been medically diagnosed. Meanwhile, defense lawyer Erin Bruner argues that Emily's condition cannot be explained by science alone.
