Kind-hearted Deepak (Sanjay Kapoor) finds a purse belonging to Aarthi (Priya Gill), who works in Delhi. After he mails back her bag, the two begin corresponding and decide to meet, but despite unwittingly encountering each other a few times, the two strangers have difficulty finding each other in the large city. As Aarthi's brother-in-law, Nirmal (Jaya Bhattacharya), urges her to marry his friend Prem (Salman Khan), Deepak tries to fend off the advances of his boss, Neha (Sushmita Sen).
