Professional Fighters LeagueProfessional Fighters League (PFL) is a premier Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) league that was established in 2017. PFL is the only global MMA organization that features a regular season, playoffs and championship. Each regular season consists of 12 events and a double-elimination playoff format with a prize pool of $10 million. PFL features 126 of the best MMA fighters from around the world, including Kynan Alvarez, Natan Schulte, Lance Palmer, Ray Cooper III, and Kayla Harrison. All fighters compete for the chance to win their share of the $10 million prize pool at the PFL Championship each year. During the regular season, each athlete competes in three fights in hopes of earning points by winning, advancing on the point ranked leaderboard and advancing to the playoffs. The points earned by each athlete are based on the type of fight they win. To advance to the playoffs, fighters must finish in the top 8 in their respective divisions. Fighters in the playoffs compete in a double-elimination tournament format for the chance to win the championship and receive their share of the prize money. The winner of the Professional Fighters League is determined in the final championship fight on the last night of the season. During the course of the regular season and playoffs, fans can watch up-to-the-minute rankings, news, stats, videos and highlights on www.pflmma.com and via the PFL app. Professional Fighters League has been widely praised for bringing a revolutionary format to MMA and providing unprecedented opportunities for its athletes and fans.
