College Basketball, also known as NCAA Basketball, is the highest level of basketball competition in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) in the United States. College Basketball teams are made up of student-athletes attending institutions of higher education in the United States. It is one of the most popular sports in the country, with some of the most renowned NCAA Basketball teams including Duke, UNC, Kansas, Kentucky, Indiana, Michigan, Arizona, Syracuse, and Louisville. College Basketball is noted for its competitive intensity and passion that the student-athletes exhibit. Each NCAA Basketball season consists of a regular season with each team playing approximately 3-4 conferences games and 20-25 games outside of the conference. The season is then capped off with the NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Tournament, commonly referred to as the “Big Dance” or the “March Madness”, where 68 teams compete in single-elimination bracket to determine the Division I National Champion. This tournament remains one of the most popular sporting events in the United States and is often the most “bet on” event of the year in the US. NCAA Basketball has a long and rich history dating back to its first recorded game in 1892 and only getting more popular as the years went on. Some of the big names that have graced the NCAA Basketball courts over the years include: Lew Alcindor (renamed Kareem Abdul-Jabbar once converted to Islam), Bill Walton, Larry Bird, Michael Jordan, Tim Duncan, Magic Johnson, and LeBron James; to name a few. Overall, college basketball continues to remain one of the most popular sports in the US, with intense rivalries and passion for the sport fueling the culture of the competition. NCAA Basketball season excites fans and players alike every year, as they hope for a sweet victory in the tournament and the chance to take home a National Championship.

The Tigers (18-5, 10-2 ACC) face the No. 2 Blue Devils (20-2, 12-0). Duke boasts the nation's longest win streak at 16 games after an 83-54 drubbing of Syracuse on Feb. 5. Clemson's six-game run ended in a triple-overtime loss Jan. 4 to Georgia Tech.

NC State at Stanford

The Wolfpack complete their first ACC trip to the Bay Area as they face the Cardinal. The programs split a home-and-home series from 2011 to 2013 with both protecting their home floor. Dwight Powell of the Dallas Mavericks played in those games.

East Carolina at Texas-San Antonio

The Pirates (12-11, 4-6 American) try to remain spotless against the Roadrunners (10-12, 4-6). East Carolina is 3-0 versus UTSA all-time after an 84-73 victory over the Roadrunners last season. RJ Felton (ECU) scored 16 points in that win.

Bradley at Evansville

Duke Deen and the Braves visit the Purple Aces for a Missouri Valley Conference contest. Evansville snapped an 11-game series slide with a 73-70 victory last season. The 5-foot-8 Deen collected 15 points, seven rebounds and five assists in that loss.

Alabama at Arkansas

The No. 3 Crimson Tide (19-3, 8-1 SEC) roll into this matchup with the Razorbacks (14-8, 3-6). Alabama has won five of six meetings since 2020-21, taking down Arkansas 92-88 last season. The Crimson Tide are riding a five-game winning streak.

Ole Miss at LSU

The No. 25 Rebels (17-6, 6-4 SEC) look to keep rolling against the slumping Tigers (12-10, 1-8). Ole Miss got its first win over a ranked foe in five tries when it took down No. 14 Kentucky 98-84 on Feb. 4. LSU aims to snap a five-game winless skid.

St. Mary's at Oregon State

The Beavers look to spring another home shocker in West Coast Conference play when the Gaels visit. This is the first meeting between the schools since the 1968-1969 campaign. Oregon State already defeated WCC heavyweight Gonzaga at home this season.

Butler at Seton Hall

The Bulldogs go for their first season series sweep of the Pirates since 2015-16 in a Big East game. Butler snapped a six-game slide against Seton Hall with an 82-77 victory in January. Pierre Brooks II led the Bulldogs with 19 points in that affair.

Oregon at Michigan

The Ducks arrive in Michigan to take on the No. 24 Wolverines. Oregon needed overtime to put away Michigan 86-83 in their last meeting Dec. 2, 2023. Oregon guard Jackson Shelstad scored five of his 14 points in that contest in the extra frame.

Duke at Syracuse

The No. 2 Blue Devils (19-2, 11-0) bring a 15-game win streak into their ACC road test against the Orange (10-12, 4-7). Duke has won nine consecutive meetings. Duke led by as many as 32 points in an 87-70 rout of rival North Carolina on Feb. 1.

Missouri at Tennessee

The No. 15 Tigers (17-4, 6-2 SEC) visit the No. 4 Volunteers (18-4, 5-4). Missouri improved to 4-1 facing ranked competition after beating then-No. 16 Ole Miss and former-No. 14 Mississippi State. Tennessee smacked then-No. 5 Florida 64-44 on Feb. 1.

Louisville at Boston College

The Cardinals (16-6, 9-2 ACC) try to recover versus the rejuvenated Eagles (10-11, 2-8). Louisville's 10-game win streak was halted at Georgia Tech 77-70 on Feb. 1. Boston College snapped six-game slide with a 77-76 victory over Florida State.

UT-Chattanooga at Wofford

The Mocs (15-8, 7-3 Southern) seek their sixth straight victory over the Terriers (12-11, 6-4). Chattanooga erased a 20-point deficit to defeat Wofford 83-81 in overtime in January. The Mocs have won their last three games, and six of the past seven.

The Bearcats (12-9, 2-8 Big 12) visit the Knights (13-8, 4-8). Cincinnati has dropped four in a row, but won its last four against UCF after sweeping a pair in 2023-24. The Bearcats earned a two-point victory in their last two visits to Orlando, Fla.
