College football is a sport that has been played for over 150 years. It is one of the most popular and beloved sports in the United States, with hundreds of millions of fans cheering on their favourite college football teams every fall. College football is a game in which teams of student-athletes from universities and colleges compete against each other in an exciting and thrilling battle of offensive and defensive football. The sport consists of 11-on-11 matches, usually played on Saturdays during the fall months in stadiums across America. College football's regular season usually begins in late August or early September and ends in early December. The teams are decided by each school's football conference - e.g. the SEC, the ACC, the Big 12, the Big Ten and more. After the regular season, some teams will be chosen to compete in the post-season playoffs that will decide the national champion. Some of the most memorable games in College Football history include the 1969 ‘Game of the Century’ between the Texas Longhorns and Arkansas Razorbacks, the 2006 Rose Bowl between USC and Texas, and the 2012 BCS National Championship Game between Alabama and Notre Dame. North Carolina vs South Carolina

The Duke's Mayo Classic sees the No. 21 Tar Heels battle the Gamecocks for Carolina supremacy. The schools met in the 2021 Duke's Mayo Bowl, with South Carolina earning a 38-21 win over North Carolina. Spencer Rattler returns to pilot the Gamecocks.

Texas A&M at Miami

The Hurricanes host the No. 23 Aggies seeking retribution for an upset loss in 2022. Texas A&M kept Miami out of the end zone to secure a 17-9 win over the higher-ranked Hurricanes on Sept. 17, 2022. Both clubs won their 2023 openers convincingly.

North Carolina at Clemson

The No. 20 Tar Heels (8-2, 4-2 ACC) visit Death Valley to tangle with the Tigers (6-4, 3-4). Clemson has won five straight meetings, including 39-10 in the 2022 ACC championship game. North Carolina comes off a 47-45 victory over Duke in double OT.

NC State at Virginia

NC State and Virginia renew their rivalry with a Friday night clash. The Wolfpack won the past two meetings with the Cavaliers. Senior quarterback Brennan Armstrong threw for 264 yards and a touchdown in NC State's 45-7 romp of VMI on Sept. 16.

Notre Dame at Louisville

The No. 10 Fighting Irish face another road test when they clash with the No. 25 Cardinals. Louisville is 5-0 for the first time since 2013 after edging NC State 13-10. Notre Dame came from behind to defeat then-No. 17 Duke 21-14 in Week 5.

Florida State at Florida

The Gators host the Seminoles. Florida must win to reach bowl eligibility, but will try to do so without quarterback Graham Mertz, who fractured his collarbone Nov. 18. Playoff-hopeful Florida State lost star QB Jordan Travis the same night.

Georgia at Auburn

The No. 1 Bulldogs hit the road for the first time this season as they try to make it seven in a row over the SEC rival Tigers. Two-time defending national champion Georgia extended its win streak to 21 games with a 49-21 triumph over UAB in Week 4.

Alabama at Texas A&M

The No. 11 Crimson Tide pay the Aggies a visit. Both clubs have won their past three games to move to 4-1 with a 2-0 mark in SEC play on the year. In 2022, Alabama beat Texas A&M 24-20 behind three touchdown passes in a spot start from Jalen Milroe.

Notre Dame at Louisville

The No. 10 Fighting Irish face another road test when they clash with the No. 25 Cardinals. Louisville is 5-0 for the first time since 2013 after edging NC State 13-10. Notre Dame came from behind to defeat then-No. 17 Duke 21-14 in Week 5.

Georgia Tech vs UCF

The Knights bid for a third Gasparilla Bowl victory in five years as they face the Yellow Jackets in Tampa, Fla. Both teams are 6-6. UCF beat Georgia Tech 27-10 in 2022 behind quarterback John Rhys Plumlee's 100 rushing yards and a touchdown.

Clemson vs Kentucky

The No. 22 Tigers appear in a 19th straight postseason as they play the Wildcats in the Gator Bowl. Clemson prevailed in its last four games after a 4-4 start. The Tigers won eight of their last 11 bowls, and two national titles during that span.

Virginia Tech vs Tulane

The Green Wave ride into a Military Bowl outing against the Hokies. Tulane had won 10 straight games before falling 26-14 to SMU in the American Athletic Conference title game. Tulane's Makhi Hughes paced freshmen nationwide with 1,290 rushing yards.

SMU vs Boston College

The Eagles stay close to home as they play the No. 24 Mustangs in the Fenway Bowl. Boston College's campus is about four miles from Fenway Park. SMU, the American Athletic Conference champion, has won nine straight. BC has dropped three in a row.

Virginia at Louisville

The No. 11 Cardinals (8-1, 5-1) try to hang on to second place in the ACC as they host the upset-minded Cavaliers (2-7, 1-4). Louisville won its last two games by a combined 57-3 score, and controls its own destiny in playing for the ACC title.
