College football is a sport that has been played for over 150 years. The sport consists of 11-on-11 matches, usually played on Saturdays during the fall months in stadiums across America. College football's regular season usually begins in late August or early September and ends in early December. The teams are decided by each school's football conference - e.g. the SEC, the ACC, the Big 12, the Big Ten and more. After the regular season, some teams will be chosen to compete in the post-season playoffs that will decide the national champion. California at Louisville
NCAAFThe Golden Bears play the No. 15 Cardinals for the first time. Louisville won its third straight game Nov. 1 when it took care of Virginia Tech, 28-16 on the road. California's Kendrick Raphael has scored six touchdowns across his past two games.
Georgia at Mississippi State
NCAAFNo. 5 Georgia (7-1, 5-1) tries to maintain its grip on Mississippi State (5-4, 1-4) in an SEC battle of Bulldogs. Georgia has won five straight meetings, and 14 of the last 15. Mississippi State rallied for a 38-35 victory at Arkansas last week.
Florida State at Clemson
NCAAFThe Seminoles (4-4, 1-4 ACC) look to take advantage of the reeling Tigers (3-5, 2-4). Clemson has dropped two in a row, including its first home loss to Duke since 1980. Florida State snapped a four-game league slide by demolishing Wake Forest 42-7.
Syracuse at Miami
NCAAFThe No. 18 Hurricanes seek a bounce-back effort when they host the Orange. Miami's College Football Playoff hopes have taken a hit after losing two of the past three games. Syracuse disrupted Miami's 2024 CFP run with a 42-38 upset Nov. 30, 2024.
