College football is a sport that has been played for over 150 years. College football is a game in which teams of student-athletes from universities and colleges compete against each other in an exciting and thrilling battle of offensive and defensive football. The sport consists of 11-on-11 matches, usually played on Saturdays during the fall months in stadiums across America. College football's regular season usually begins in late August or early September and ends in early December. The teams are decided by each school's football conference - e.g. the SEC, the ACC, the Big 12, the Big Ten and more. After the regular season, some teams will be chosen to compete in the post-season playoffs that will decide the national champion. NCAAFThe No. 18 Hurricanes seek a bounce-back effort when they host the Orange. Miami's College Football Playoff hopes have taken a hit after losing two of the past three games. Syracuse disrupted Miami's 2024 CFP run with a 42-38 upset Nov. 30, 2024.
Toledo at Miami (OH)
NCAAFThe RedHawks (5-4, 4-1) aim to stay in the MAC title chase when they host the Rockets (5-4, 3-2). Last season, Toledo avenged a loss to Miami (Ohio) in the 2023 conference title game with a 30-20 victory. The Rockets are 0-4 on the road this year.
Northern Illinois at Massachusetts
NCAAFThe Minutemen (0-9, 0-5 MAC) try to get on the board when they host the Huskies (2-7, 1-4). Sam Houston's 21-17 victory over Oregon State on Nov. 8 left UMass as the only winless team in FBS play. Northern Illinois is 3-0 all-time against UMass.
Buffalo at Central Michigan
NCAAFThe Bulls (5-4, 4-1 MAC) try to stay in the title game hunt as they face the Chippewas (5-4, 3-2). Buffalo won the most recent clash against Central Michigan 37-13 in 2023, but the Chippewas are 8-4 all-time and 3-1 at home against the Bulls.
